  • Year 1 Parents Letter
Dear Families As we come towards the end of this most unusual of terms, I am writing to confirm that our temporary covid related timetable structure will remain in place at least until February half term. In relation to this it would greatly help us if students that are receiving lifts from family members could be dropped off in the surrounding streets rather than immediately next to the College buildings. YR1 students have taken 2 key assessments this term. Linked to this when we come back in the new year students will be reviewing their progress so far and planning for improvement. We will be sending all parents details of how to log in to our Parents Portal (called our Improve system) so you will be able see progress to date and the improvement plans your son/daughter has written. We will be running a parental consultation evening early in Spring and at this moment in time it looks like that will be a telephone event. We will be in contact early in the New Year with further details about this event. In the meantime, the table below has some useful contacts should you wish to contact the College. ParentPay Sanya Mir [email protected] Attendance Tracey Wagstaff [email protected] Martin Pilkington SEN [email protected] UCAS Dave Gropper [email protected] Paul McLaughlin Bursary [email protected] Improve portal logins Jay Patel [email protected] One change that all students are aware of that might not have filtered through to all parents is that we have decided to make our temporary dress code permanent.
