Butherus Drive Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Friday, January 12th, 2018 7PM “Soul West Spotlights...” is an intimate concert series whose mission is to promote and support Soul Music, Culture and Education, as well as raise awareness and support for financial literacy through health and wealth initiatives. “Soul West Spotlights…” will be held at BLK Live in Scottsdale, AZ (www.blkliveaz.com) featuring a live concert series with the most Soulful R&B Singers and Musicians of our time. Expected to attract more than 300 music aficionados, Musicians and Educators; Soul West Spotlights… will present several national acts on stage, with the kickoff commencing Friday, January 12th, 2018 doors open at 7pm. A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Pathways to the World, Inc. (a 501 C 3) non-profit that supports under-privileged youth, fragile families and veterans through education, job creation and supportive housing. Soul West Spotlights…Teedra Moses; born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana to a gospel singing mother, Shirley Moses. In 2002, Teedra released her debut album Complex Simplicity which included fourteen tracks all self-penned by Moses with dominant production by Poli. In addition to executive producing and penning all the lyrics on her own project, Moses has written songs for other artists including Christina Milian, Mary J. Blige, Macy Gray, and a host of others. In working with Rick Ross, Moses is currently on “Family Ties” from Hood Billionaire, “Nobody” featuring Diddy and French Montana from the Mastermind album, and “Amsterdam "from one of the most anticipated albums of 2012, Rick Ross’ God Forgives I Don’t; Her songs have been showcased in HBO’s hit series “Insecure,” “Entourage,” Logo series Noah's Arc; movies such as Never Die Alone, Beauty Shop, Be Cool and The Skinny. With over 10 years of live performance, selling out intimate venues around the world and a stream of mixtapes, Moses is riding high on her second commercial release in a decade, Cognac & Conversations released in 2015 which debuted at number 5 on Itunes R&B Charts and #7 on Billboard R&B charts. Moses has been featured on the song, “That One” and completed a US Tour with Grammy Award Winning R&B Crooner, Anthony Hamilton. TreLee featuring Tyree and DJ BornReady Singing since the age of 2, TreLee is a force to be reckoned with. Her love and passion for music stems from her involvement in church and school choirs, but it didn’t stop there. TreLee started singing in music groups and performing in talent shows at the age of 12. At the age of only 17, she recorded her first original song with her group, FLAVA. TreLee was influenced early on by R&B artist, Mary J. Blige. When asked to describe Mary J. Blige she said, “I think she changed the R&B game with her vocal style.” Having a style of her own, TreLee is on the path to doing the same. TreLee’s music has also been influenced by other artist such as the soulful Anita Baker, the smooth Luther Vandross, and the edgy Beyonce Knowles. TreLee has recently embarked on her biggest accomplishment to date, completing a CD. Her first solo project entitled “TreLee Revealed” brings you what you expect and ten times more. Darius Mylik Music Bio He was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN to a mother with 10 children. Although his mother and father do not possess the ability to sing, when he was still in the womb of his mother an elder prayed for him that he would sing. God granted the prayer and he has been singing every since. He has performed in a plethora of states and with Randy Walker and Appointed Time in ecclesia showcases in Chicago and Memphis respectively as well as the Rebel Lounge, Arizona State University and Pilgrim Rest in Arizona.
