Present working areas As a consultant, I work with qualifying curriculum programs and advanced courses for health care professionals. Responsible for tasks and functions such as: • Course manager, teaching and planning different programs focusing on: Communication, supervision, coaching, and organizational improvement. • Course manager, teaching and planning advanced curriculum programs for critical care nurses, nurse anesthesia, and emergency nurses. • Supervision, evaluation, and assessment in examinations at several postgraduate courses.

As a researcher, I am focusing on communication and relationships in interdisciplinary collaboration between health professionals and across organizations, with attention on quality and continuity of care.

Projects • Cross- sectoral collaboration on Clinical Training in Nursing Education between Nursing Schools and University Hospitals. A mixed methods Study including 24 semi-structured interviews, an intervention project, and assessment of relational coordination in cross-sectoral a collaboration (academic/practice) on clinical training 2019 – 2021. • Training Simulation Facilitation. A project focusing on reducing practice shock with simulation- based learning methods in healthcare vocational education. 2019 – 2021.

• Communication and relationships in interdisciplinary surgical teams. PhD project. 2014-2018 • Process innovation in professional education programs - a project supported by the European Social Fund and developed in collaboration with act2learn and private and public companies in North . The project is designed to generate and test new knowledge about how innovation in work processes in companies and organizations in Northern Denmark can produce better results (incl. Relational Coordination), 2013 -2014. • Organizing the Nursing Home of the Future. A project developed and implemented in collaboration between Aalborg and UCN, act2learn. The project is intended to create an education for staff in nursing homes, which focuses on the individual resident and his or her needs, and which is based on "life phase model" developed by the municipality of Aalborg and based on ideas included in the theory of relational coordination. 2013 – 2014. • Train the Trainer Course – a facilitator course focusing on training Communications skills. Developing, facilitating, and implementation of a facilitator course for consultants and teachers (Continuing Education department), University College Northern Denmark. 2013. • Train the Trainer Course – a facilitator course focusing on training Communications skills. Developing, facilitating, and implementation of a facilitator course for teachers (Bachelor Education), University College Northern Denmark. 2011. • Establishing a Communication lab in University College Northern Denmark, 2010-2011 • Development of methods for quality of communication between professionals and users in the health care clinical practice. A development project supported by the UCN. The study included a study visit to the School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge, invited by the dean of education Jonathan Silverman. 2009. • Conversation with patient and relatives. A project focusing on training communication skills using the Marte Meo method. Carried out in collaboration between UCN and Department of Cardiology, Section S1, Aalborg University Hospital. 2008. • Communication between health professionals and patients admitted to the intensive care unit.
