Selective Enforcements Colonel’s Column Totals Since Increased Efforts The Patrol’s renewed enforcement efforts have been ongoing DUI Arrests 44 for several months now. 4 Law Enforcement Memorial and CandleLight Vigil Friday, May 5, 2017 Captain Robert “Dave” Melton, Kansas 11:00 a.m.: Reception City, Kansas Department Reception for Family, Friends and Law Enforcement Captain Robert David Melton was killed by gunfire on Officers in the Statehouse hosted by Attorney General July 19, 2016.
