    Sono solo fantasmi - Il Film Sono solo fantasmi di Christian e Brando De Sica, è una curiosa contaminazione tra horror e commedia brillante, un po’ sulla falsariga di alcuni esempi ibridi tipo Tempi duri per i vampiri (1959), dove il comico nostrano Renato Rascel era inserito in una bizzarra parodia degli horror movies della Hammers con Christopher Lee nel ruolo di Dracula. Ma ancora di più Sono solo fantasmi guarda a Ghostbusters (1983) di Ivan Reitman, per gli effetti speciali e agli zoombie movies. Ma ancora di più è debitore, nella leggerezza e nello stile, allo splendido Fantasmi a Roma (1961), di Antonio Pietrangeli. Ma è ancora di più un omaggio di Christian De Sica alla figura del padre Vittorio; ma non passi inosservato neanche che il personaggio interpretato da Gianmarco Tognazzi si chiami Ugo. La sequenza finale, in bianco e nero, con Christian De Sica che assume le sembianze del padre, è da pelle d’oca, mentre sulla discesa del palazzo del Giudizio Universale, saluta il pubblico nella classica posa del padre. Scopri il nuovo numero > Il Natale che verrà La trama è presto detta. E’ la storia di tre fratelli: Thomas (Christian De Sica), Carlo (Carlo Buccirosso) e Ugo (Gianmarco Tognazzi), i quali alla morte del padre, Vittorio De Paola (!!! neanche questo un caso), scoprono che lui aveva sperperato al gioco tutte le sue ricchezze. Per salvare l’antico palazzo di famiglia, scelgono quindi di sfruttare la superstizione popolare degli abitanti di Napoli per mettere in piedi una redditizia attività di acchiappafantasmi. Molto scettici in principio, strane apparizioni e voci convincono presto i fratelli a prendere molto più sul serio l’intera faccenda, arrivando a intuire che la profezia del risveglio di una terribile strega – la janara del folklore locale – arsa viva secoli prima e pronta a scatenare la sua furia su Napoli, sia tutt’altro che da prendere sotto gamba.
