This year, the Paris Motor Show included various new international launches. The eco- logical focus, a norm over the last few shows, was also present: electric, hybrid, plug- in, etc. Almost all the brands displayed at least one model with these characteristics. Many of these new “clean” vehicles are no longer simply projects or prototypes; they will soon be on sale. We want to show you some concept cars (most of them EV), as an example of the future trends

Industrial Design Department Grupo Antolin-Ingenieria PREVIEW An electric concept car with the size of a Clio, which will boast the new Renault identity and the new visual brand of the front. Its features are designed for the comfort of its occupants: · Air conditioning that controls the hygrometry. · Toxicity sensor for purer air. · Diffuser of active, dynamic or relaxing scents (developed in collaboration with Biotherm). · Light diffuser through the central screen to increase the feeling of well-being: Luminotherapy (collaboration with Philips).

CITROËN LACOSTE Curious and original car with the brand Lacoste as the theme for the entire vehicle. This brand initially collaborated with the car sec- tor in the 80s with the launch of the Lacoste. This time the brand is involved with a concept leisure vehicle, which does not have doors and the roof is a central arch from which an inflatable top automatically deploys on rainy days. The dashboard is simply a display with oversized pixels. It is a happy and carefree prototype that cannot fail to make an impression.

Another curious feature is what Nissan has called “puck”, which is a ball the size of a squash ball with a wide groove in the middle which allows it to hold drinks, mobiles, hand- bags hooks and other items. These are slotted into rounded holes set into the dashboard, doors and central console.
