Development and other government agencies charged with putting New Yorkers back to work and building a stronger, more vibrant economy. Moreover, the council is functioning as a vehicle through which regional interests across the state are commu- nicating with each other and forging new relationships. All of these devel- opments confirm that the governor’s unprecedented approach to inclusive, locally based economic develop- ment is working and will lead to more responsive and successful economic planning and job growth.
