3 Taxing authorities

Regional Railroad Authority The 2021 proposed Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority (HCRRA) budget is $31.4 million, with a proposed property tax levy of $30.0 million — unchanged from 2020. The HCRRA seeks to improve rail modes of transportation to reduce traffic congestion and improve mobility.

Housing and Redevelopment Authority The 2021 proposed Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority’s (HCHRA) budget is $17.8 million, with a proposed property tax levy of $16.5 million— unchanged from 2020.
