67 fund families qualified for the 2015 Barron’s/Lipper Fund Family Ranking. Thrivent Mutual Funds was ranked #3 of 67 for 1 year, #36 of 58 for 5 years, and #45 of 52 for 10 years for the periods ending 12/31/15. For the 2016 Thomson Reuters Lipper Fund Awards (based on period ended 11/30/2015), a small fund family is defined as having assets of $57.7 billion or less. The 2015 definition (based on period ending 11/30/2014) was $52.6 billion or less. Money Market assets are excluded. For 2016, 27 Fund Families were included in the Overall Small Fund Family group and 43 Fund Families were included in the Mixed-Assets Small Fund Family asset class group. For 2015, 38 Fund Families were included in the Mixed-Assets Small Fund Family asset class group. This recognition only indicates performance for the three-year time period. *Award for US region only. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Investing in a mutual fund involves risks, including the possible loss of principal. The prospectus contains more complete information on the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of the fund, which investors should read and consider carefully before investing. Updated performance information and prospectuses are available at ThriventFunds.com Some Thrivent Mutual Funds had fee waivers in effect for 2015. If these waivers had not been in effect, performance would have been lower for these funds. See ThriventFunds.com or the Prospectus for current waiver information. Barron’s/Lipper Methodology: To qualify for the Barron’s/Lipper Fund Family Rankings, a firm must have at least 3 funds in Lipper’s general U.S. stock category, 1 in world equity (which combines global and international funds), 1 mixed-asset fund (which holds stocks and bonds), 2 taxable-bond funds and 1-tax-exempt offering. These funds must have a minimum track record of 1-year. Fund returns don’t include 12b-1 fees, fund loads, or sales charges. Each fund’s performance is measured against all funds in its Lipper category which leads to a percentile ranking (100 is the highest). The result is then weighted by asset size relative to the fund family’s other assets in its general classification. Single-sector, country and state funds are not factored into the score, nor are Standard & Poor’s 500 index funds. Finally, the score is multiplied by the weighting of its general classification, as determined by the entire Lipper universe of funds. For complete methodology, visit ThriventFunds.com. Thomson Reuters Lipper methodology: Asset Class Group Awards and Overall Group Awards are given to the best large and best small fund families separately. Fund groups with at least 5 equity, 5 bond, or 3 mixed-asset portfolios in the respective asset classes are eligible for an Asset Class Group or Overall award. Small fund family groups need to have at least 3 distinct portfolios in 1 of the asset classes (equity, bond, or mixed-asset) to qualify for an Asset Class Group award; they must have at least 3 equity, 3 bond and 3 mixed-asset funds to qualify for an Overall Group award. The lowest average decile rank of the 3 years’ Consistent Return measure of the eligible funds per asset class and group will determine the Asset Class Group award winner over the 3-year period. An Overall Group award will be given to the group with the lowest weighted average decile ranking of its respective asset class results based on the methodology described above. In cases of identical results the lower average percentile rank will determine the winner. Front-end sales charges are not taken into consideration. © 2016 Thomson Reuters. All rights reserved. MILWAUKEE’S coolestOFFICES Think you have the area’s coolest office? PERFECTING THE ART OF SPEAKING EFFECTIVELY

You know communication is a critical part of PR. In a digital world, that usually means being able to say what you need to in 140 characters or creating a branded story through social media posts.

The art of eloquent speaking is left in the dust! But polished public speaking skills are key for PR professionals, since we’re in front of clients and reporters on a daily basis.

Cindy Laatsch, DTM, program quality director for Toastmasters District 35, will lead our program on public speaking. You’ll learn how to draft a compelling speech, develop delivery skills such as eye contact and vocal infl ections, and cut out vocal fi llers – like “ah” and “um.”
