Name of Grandmaster Jürg Ziegler’s most important Teachers:

Ø Grandmaster Kang Ban Chuan, = („Cheng Kau“ - „The Iron Head of Shaolin“): He taught me Southern Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu, Chinese Medicine as well as martial Arts History & Philosophy. I am his Successor, Inheritor and Permanent European Headmaster/Representative. I am a full member of „NANYANG SHAOLIN MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION SINGAPORE“ / „Siong Lam Gee - Singapore“ as well as full Instructor of „SUNGSAN SHAOLIN MARTIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION (MALAYSIA)“ since 1987. He tested & graded me Headmaster/Grandmaster 9th Black Belt in December 1998. He passed away on 6th Nov 1999 and left me as his Inheritor and Successor (as 10th Dan) in charge as World Grandmaster (51st Generation) for Southern Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu

Ø Grandmaster Quek Heng Choon: He taught me Southern Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu. He graded me Shaolin Instructor in 1988 and he tested & graded me Headmaster/Grandmaster 10th Dan Black Belt on 12th July 2001. He authorized me to use the title “Chung Si” (Head of Style) for Southern Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu in on 12th July 2001.

Ø Grandmaster Austin Goh („The Iron Man of “): He taught me Wing Chun Kung Fu, Ng Mui Pai, Chi Kung, Siu Lam Pak Tui, and various Weapons plus Martial Arts History & Philosophy & Healing. He tested & graded me Wing Chun Instructor in 1983 and Master in 1986 and European Headmaster in February 1993.

Ø DoJuNim Ji , Han Jae (10th Dan, Founder of ): He taught me Sin Moo Hapkido, Martial Arts History & Philosophy. I am his permanent Headmaster and Representative for all European, Eurasien and Middle East Countries. He tested & graded me 9th Dan Sin Moo Hapkido Grandmaster in October 1998.

Ø Grandmaster Ernst Zbinden, = (10th Dan, Founder of SEZ-Jitsu): He taught me SEZ-Jitsu (System Ernst Zbinden Jitsu) and tested & graded me 8th Dan Black Belt on 18th November 1992. He passed away on 6th Nov 1993 and left me as his Successor (as 10th Dan) in charge as World Grandmaster for SEZ-Jitsu.

Ø Grandmaster Sunny Tan Sar Bee: He taught me Flying Eagle Hapkido, Sar Hyun Ji Do Kwan (of which he tested and graded me 3rd Dan) & /. I am his European Representative. I am a full member of the „FLYING EAGLE HAPKIDO ASSOCIATION OF SINGAPORE“.

Ø Grandmaster Yang Chee Soon: He taught me Southern Shaolin Pay Yen Tong Peh Chien (Southern Shaolin White Ape Through the Back System). I am 21st generation

Ø Grandmaster Hwang Ken Wang (9th Dan , 9th Dan , Sambo-Sepcialist): He taught me Sambo (). I am a full member of the INTERNATIONAL KUNG FU FEDERATION as well as Honorable Director of „ KUNG FU EXACT PROGRESSIVE FEDERATION“.

Ø Grandmaster Ernesto A. Presas (10th Dan / Modern / IPMAF): He taught me the Philippine Martial Arts of KOMBATAN and (Single & Double Stick, Single & Double Knive, Dolo Dolo, Bangkaw, Balisong, Mano y Mano, Mano y Daga, Daga y Daga, Mano y Arnis, Arnis y Arnis, Daga y Arnis, Espada y Daga, etc.). I am the IPMAF Chief Instructor Switzerland and was tested and certified in August 2001 as “Master Instructor” by Grandmaster Ernesto A. Presas. So far I established KOMBATAN in Switzerland, Portugal, Finland, Austria and Singapore. IPMAF = International Philippine Martial Arts Federation (established 1970).

Besides the above teachers Grandmaster Jürg Ziegler was also taught by some other great Martial Arts Masters: Grandmaster Yip Chun (Hongkong, Wing Chun Kung Fu), Grandmaster Lo Man Kam (Taiwan, Wing Chun Kung Fu), Grandmaster Low Koy Tho („Monkey King“, Singapore Seow Tiong San Athletic Association), Grandmaster Cheng Kwong (Hongkong), Grandmaster Prof. Jonathan Stewart (SAMAS & Arnis), Grandmaster Cacoy Canete (, Eskrima, Escrido, Pangamot), Guro Doug Pierre (Modern Arnis Domog), etc. He met, discussed, trained and exchanged with many other great Martial Arts Grandmasters/Experts.
