Sri V. Shyam has filed 2nd appeal 17-03-2021 which was received by this Commission on 18-03-2021 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/O/o the Deputy Commissioner Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Circle -23, Moosapet, Hyderabad and the First Appellate Authority/ O/o the Zonal Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Kukatpally Zone, Tank Bund Road, Hyderabad.

The brief facts of this case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated. 14-09-2020 before the Public Information Officer requesting to furnish the information under Sec. 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points mentioned: TSIC

The Public Information Officer did not furnish any information to the appellant in both the cases.

Stating that he did not receive any information from the Public Information Officer, the appellant filed appeals dated.16-11-2020 before the First Appellate Authority U/s. 19 (1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting him to furnish the information sought by him.

As per the records, the First Appellate Authority has not taken action to hear the appeals and to pass orders.

Having not received any information from the Public Information Officer /the First Appellate Authority, the appellant preferred these second appeals before this Commission U/s. 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him.

Basing on the material papers available on record, the appeal is taken on file.

Since the subject matter is same in both these cases, these two cases are heard together and a common order is passed.

In view of the spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, the case is heard over phone on 25-06-2021 with prior intimation to the concerned parties. The appellant Sri Vaddam Shyam responded to the phone call and Sri P. Ravi Kumar/Public Information Officer / The Dy.Commssioner, Circle-23 ( Moosapet), KP Zone, GHMC has responded to the phone call.

The Appellant submitted that his records are held up with his office, hence he is not in a position to state whether he received the information or not.

The Public Information Officer submitted that he has collected all the information sought by the Appellant and would furnish the same to the appellant.

In view the above, the Commission directs Public Information Officer to invite the appellant for personal inspection of records on 15-07-2021 to enable him to obtain the required information as sought in the 6(1) application, by giving an advance intimation to the appellant in writing for inspection of the record and to report compliance to the Commission.

With the above direction, the appeal is closed.
