Lord Jesus, Let nothing stop us from doing what we ought to do And from being where we ought to be.

Give us the grace to conquer:- Laziness, which paralyses out mind, will and heart, Fear which may deter us from taking a public stand about what we know ought to be said and done. Selfishness, which prevents us from caring for and sharing with others, Even though we know how much better off we are.

We ask this grace for ourselves.

We ask it also for our community and our nation.

May despair not make us stop trying. May discouragement not make us give up. May pessimism not take away our hope. 12 Angry Men Marcellin VCE Theatre Studies students are presenting Give us the grace of perseverance and discipline, a one night only performance of 12 Angry Men. The musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is the next joint venture for M2 Theatre Company (Marcellin and Our Lady of Mercy Colleges)

One of the world’s best loved musicals, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is the story of Tevye, a dairyman, his wife and their five daughters. Tevye, his family and their fellow villagers must cope with their harsh existence in the small Jewish village of Anatevka. In the opening, "Tradition", Tevye explains the role of God’s law in providing balance in the villagers’ lives. He describes the inner circle of the community and the larger circle which includes the constable, the priest, and countless other authority figures. He explains, "We don’t bother them and so far, they don’t bother us." He ends by insisting that without their traditions, he and the other villagers would find their lives "as shaky as a fiddler on the roof." FIDDLER ON THE ROOF features such well known music as "Matchmaker", "If I Were a Rich Man", "Sunrise, Sunset" and many more. A real crowd pleaser, don’t miss this family musical!
