Youth Charity Benefit Horse Show Our thanks once again…. To the YCHS Committee for all their help, for allowing us to once again be a part of their show, and for once again choosing CIRT to be the beneficiary of this year’s show. “Kids To the CIRT riders for demonstrating Helping what CIRT is all about. To all the volunteers, parents, and staff Kids” who worked so tirelessly the entire weekend. Jaimee and Meghan competed in the UPHA Challenge Cup Springfield, IL , Oct 9-11 — Volunteers were recruited. Riders had practiced. Horses and tack were loaded for the Youth Charity Horse Show at the Illinois State Fair Grounds. Fourteen CIRT riders represented CIRT this year. All fourteen rode in the Trail Class and all did an awesome job! Two of our independent riders competed in the UPHA Challenge Cup Class.     LIST OF APPROVED MODELS OF FRAMES AND FORKS Version on 11.08.2016 The Approval Procedure of bicycle frames and came into force on 1 January 2011 in accordance with Article 1.3.001bis of the UCI Regulations. From this date, all new models of frames and forks used by licence holders in road (RD), time trial (TT), track (TR) and cyclo-cross (CX) events must be approved on the basis of the Approval Protocol for Frames and Forks available from the UCI website. Approval by the UCI certifies that the new equipment meets the shape requirements set out in the UCI regulations. However, this approval does not certify in any case the safety of the equipment which must meet the applicable official quality and safety standards, in accordance with Article 1.3.002 of the UCI regulations. The models which are subject to the approval procedure are: all new models of frames and forks used by licence holders in road, track or cyclo-cross events, all models of frames and forks under development on 1 January 2011 which had not yet reached the production stage (the date of the order form of the moulds is evidence), any changes made to the geometry of existing models after 1 January 2011. Models on the market, at the production stage or already manufactured on 1 January 2011 are not required to be approved during the transition stage. However, the non-approved models have to comply in any case with the UCI technical regulations (Articles 1.3.001 to 1.3.025) and are subjects to the commissaires decision during events.

The proportion of own brand products is increasing, which provides the company with more influence over primary and distribution packaging. This case study describes two projects that have achieved multiple business benefits through effective engagement with trade partners and contractors. A ‘packaging optimisation’ project is reducing costs of packaging and transport through light-weighting, reduced air space and increased recycled content. At the same time, a proactive waste management plan is increasing waste diversion and reducing waste management costs in stores. Lessons from this case study • Stakeholders are more likely to support a project if they are part of the decision making process from the beginning. • Outline the benefits in a way that makes sense to each stakeholder by focusing on something that is meaningful to them, such as costs or sales. • Collect the data that will help you to sell the benefits. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to keep people motivated. • Optimise packaging by working collaboratively with suppliers: o clearly outline your packaging goals in policies and specifications o review packaging early in the procurement process and provide feedback on how it could be improved o recognise high-performing suppliers.
