Disney's Animal Kingdom PAGE 1 1-DAY P ARK PLAN Disney’s Animal Kingdom Maybe we’re a bit biased, but we love that we can get up close and personal with so many animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park! Because of the animals, it has the shortest operating hours of any of the theme parks. It also has fewer attractions than at the other Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks, making it possible to experience Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park’s main attractions in one day, with plenty of time to explore the animal exhibits. Guests will find the shortest wait times by arriving ahead of official park opening and in the last few hours before the park closes. Much like Magic Kingdom® Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is set up in a spoke and hub formation, with the majestic Tree of Life® Attraction at the center. Most of the character greeting locations are dispersed throughout the park. Mickey and Minnie have a dedicated greeting location at Adventurer’s Outpost and waits can get quite long for them. If this is a priority, we recommend making it a first stop or using it as a FastPass+ selection. Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park FastPass+ priority attractions and entertainment • Meet Mickey and Minnie at Adventurers Outpost • Kilimanjaro Safaris® Expedition • Kali River Rapids® Attraction • Expedition Everest® Attraction (Also has single rider line) • DINOSAUR Attraction • Primeval Whirl® Attraction WWW.UNDERCOVERTOURIST.COM 1.800.846.1302 PAGE 2 Disney’s Animal Kingdom® 1-Day Park Plan We’ve created this one-day park plan so you can experience the most popular attractions with the lowest waits, prioritizing rides that should be visited within the first hour, and within the first two and last two hours. This plan assumes you are starting within the first hour of park opening and ending in the late afternoon. Make advance FastPass+ reservations for Kilimanjaro Safaris® Expedition, Meet Mickey and Minnie at Adventurer’s Outpost and Kali River Rapids® Attraction. Aim for the times listed below. Remember, you can modify your one-hour selection times within My Disney Experience! •1 Ride Expedition Everest® Attraction 11• Take Wildlife Express to Rafiki’s Planet Watch® Land (12 mins) 2• Ride DINOSAUR Attraction 12• Visit Habitat Habit! 3• Ride Primeval Whirl® Attraction 13• Visit Conservation Station® Attraction 4• Ride TriceraTop Spin 14• Visit Affection Section 5• Watch Finding Nemo: The Musical 15• Take Wildlife Express Train Back to Africa 6• Have lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue at 11:50 a.m. 16• Ride Kali River Rapids® Attraction using FastPass+ • Meet Mickey and Minnie at Adventurer’s Outpost 7 at 4:55 p.m. using FastPass+ at 12:40 p.m. 17• Visit Maharajah Jungle Trek® Attraction 8• Watch It’s Tough to be a Bug!® Attraction 18• Watch Flights of Wonder 9• Watch Festival of the Lion King 19• Visit Discovery Islands trails • Ride Kilimanjaro Safaris® Expedition using 10 FastPass+ at 2:45 p.m. 20• Visit Oasis Exhibits VISIT ANYTIME VISIT WITHIN FIRST HR OR VISIT IN FIRST OR LAST 2 HRS WITH FASTPASS+ QUICK RESTAURANT VISIT AFTER NOON WWW.UNDERCOVERTOURIST.COM 1.800.846.1302 PAGE 3 Disney’s Animal Kingdom® 1-DAY PARK PLAN MAP 14 13 12 RAFIKI’S PLANET WATCH (close-up view) 15 11 10+ AFRICA 17 18 FP+ ASIA 9 FP+ 16+ 7+ VISIT ANYTIME FP+ VISIT WITHIN FIRST HR OR 19 1 WITH FASTPASS+ 8 6 FP+ FP+ VISIT IN FIRST OR LAST 2 HRS 5 VISIT AFTER 11 AM DISCOVERY ISLAND 20 4 3 TABLE SERVICE RESTAURANT 2 QUICK RESTAURANT OASIS RESTROOMS DINOLAND U.S.A. Birthday parties, sports events, play dates, food preparation, clean-up duties and you know the list goes on… We are teaching our children to learn that we should work hard first and then take the time to enjoy each other’s company as a family in order to celebrate our triumphs and our love for each other. We decide that we (mom and dad) need a family vacation, during which time we will surely celebrate each other. This time, Anthony and Christopher celebrate a new sister, Sarah. We need to make sure that the place where we choose to vacation is clean, safe, has the basic modern needs such as reliable water, high-end food and hospitals nearby. The destination must be able to keep all three children happy and occupied. These needs will quickly elimi- nate a number of travel hotspots. Although we have visited Walt Disney World in the past; we almost immediately de- cide that we all would be happiest together and individually if we returned again with little Sarah.
