A re you one of those folks who have said to yourself, "Someday I'm going to write a book?" Boy, I sure am. I knew from childhood that someday I would sit down and write out a best seller. And you know what -- some day I might actually do that.

But if you are one of those folks, and you've made the attempt, like I have, many times over...you know what a long and diffi- cult process that can be. That's why I admire the folks right here in Preble County who have actually become published authors.

This August, at the West Elkton Friends Meeting House, more than twenty of these tenacious and gifted writers will be com- ing together for the first time. They will display, sign and sell their creative works. We have children's authors with funny poems. We have frightening authors of horror tomes.
