July 2014 Version 3 SCOTTISH EXHIBITION + CONFERENCE CENTRE (SECC) PRECINCT Essential Venue Guide The SECC is one of Scotland’s most visited venues, hosting a variety of concerts, events and conferences. At Games Time, its large-scale Halls will host Judo, Wrestling, Boxing and Netball. Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics and the Boxing and Netball Finals will take place inside the futuristic Hydro – the riverside’s newest landmark – and Weightlifting and Para-Sport Powerlifting will be contested in the iconic Clyde Auditorium. At the SECC Precinct For everyone’s safety and enjoyment of the event, all spectators will pass through an airport style screening process for prohibited and restricted items before being allowed into venues. After security screening and ticket check, you will arrive on the main Spectator Plaza. From here, you will make your way to the competition venue for your session.
