These matters should be handled immediately at the competition. The USEF Steward will inform individuals when they are in violation of the mandatory requirements. Competition Organizers will be responsible for facilitating the removal of an individual if they do not cooperate with the request. The Steward must report instances of non- compliance to the Federation in the show’s USEF Steward Report.

Covid-19 Instruction for Competitors

1. Masks must be worn at all times while at the MEC Center except when mounted.

2. USEF requires “social distancing” of everyone at the show, even in the same group, except for people from the same household.

3. YELLOW CARD: Anyone seen not in compliance with these USEF rules (masks and social distancing) will be reminded. This reminder will be considered a “warning”. The second time the person is found not in compliance with the COVID-19 requirements the violator will be told to leave the grounds immediately and a USEF Yellow Card may be issued by the Steward.

4. STAY AWAY: A mask is not a replacement for social distancing.

5. Only persons accompanying a rider entered in the show are allowed on the grounds at the show – no spectators. No children or teens under 18 are allowed on the grounds, except when the entered rider is a child/minor.

6. On Saturday, the office will accept two (2) stables at a time for the purpose of check out. Only one (1) person from a stable may enter the show office and must stay “socially distanced” from others.
