Mission & other Prayer Points for this week: • Relief for the people of Victoria in lockdown. • The strengthening of relationships between different Christian denominations around the world. Your response to ALC's appeal “Connecting through Faith” will help support ALC's many ways of connecting more broadly with the Lutheran community, provide fresh opportunities to participate in ALC's education programs, and fund our existing offerings and new training initiatives. If you don't have our appeal pack, (available shortly) ask your pastor, or hear from Pastor James Winderlich at https://alc.edu.au/connect/annual-appeal/ and consider donating online at alc.edu.au/donate. All donations over $2.00 are tax- deductible; those received by 30th June may be claimed in this financial year.

Pray This Week for the following members: • Gary Campbell, continuing to make small steps in his recovery. • Greg Collin (Yarraman) who underwent further chemo treatment this week. • Janelle, Roy and Mark Dennien (Murgon) with Janelle’s on-going health challenges. • Rob Eisenmenger (Murgon), again in Murgon hospital.

If there are any members needing our prayers, please email Belinda at [email protected]

th Youth Group “Bonfire”!! Sunday 20 June 5.00pm- 7.30pm

Wilks’ farm, 976 River Road, Gordonbrook. We’re having a bonfire to close off term2! All are welcome, the whole family, friends and neighbours! Please see the youth Facebook page or contact Jordan for full details.

As recently announced, the plan is for Kingaroy Congregation to return to worshipping at the th Markwell Street church on July 11 . However, as we have seen in Victoria over the past fortnight, things can quickly change, and the Church Council will continue to monitor the situation on a weekly basis. Please note that, as also mentioned, Holy Communion will still need to be distributed in a continuous format. The Pastoral Care (Elders) team met this past week to discuss how to best manage HC in a confined place, within the COVID-safe guidelines.
