YAEJI AND ACEMO ADDED TO SEPTEMBER 1 WARM UP LINEUP FEATURING LIZZO, GANG GANG DANCE, DISCWOMAN, AND MORE Only Three More Warm Up Events Remain in 2018 Season LONG ISLAND CITY, New York, August 15, 2018—MoMA PS1’s pioneering outdoor music series Warm Up culminates with three more Saturdays presenting the best in live and electronic music. For the final date of the 2018 season on September 1, Yaeji and AceMo will join the lineup alongside Gang Gang Dance, Lizzo, Logan Takahashi, and a headlining set by Riobamba, Serena Jara, and MIN2 of Discwoman, a collective that exclusively represents women and genderqueer artists. This Saturday, August 18, Warm Up welcomes OG Ron C & The Chopstars, World's Fair, Jubilee, Maxo Kream, Bali Baby, Cuban Doll, Injury Reserve, and Kelman Duran. On August 25, Fort Greene Park-based house music party Soul Summit headlines Warm Up alongside HoodCelebrityy, Kelsey Lu, Epic B b2b Uninamise, Anik Khan, slowthai, Enrique, and Skinny Macho. To provide access to Warm Up for young local audiences, in 2018 the first 100 New York City high school students at each Warm Up will receive free admission. Now in its 21st season, Warm Up is one of the longest running music programs housed within a museum. As an integral part of MoMA PS1’s curatorial program, Warm Up seeks to elevate innovative and underrepresented voices and connect fans with music’s most important artists. The program’s alumni include contemporary creators Four Tet, Solange, Black Dice, Cardi B, Jamie XX, and Laurel Halo, as well as legendary DJs including Ritchie Hawtin, DJ Premier, and Total Freedom.
