Antropologiske pionerarbeider Begge disse album er nybrottsarbeid av det antropologiske slaget - feltopptak og dokumentasjon. Begge album har det til felles at de var krevende å få til og tok lang tid å lage. Begge overskred ledetiden hos bevilgende myndigheter men to utsettelser. Begge er av etniske minoriteter i Norge, begge hadde språkelig utfordringer av minoritetsspråk, slik at korrektur var svært krevende. Begge involverte lange avstander i Norden med utfordrende logistikk. I begge tilfelle fikk jeg en lykkefølelse når endelig albumet var i handa mi for første gang.
