More than 3000 aspiring Olympians and professional athletes descend on Hamilton next month for the 2013 NZ Youth Games. The games are held on a four-yearly cycle, with athletes aged between 13 and 19 competing across 16 codes ranging from the National Athletics Track and Field Champs to BMX and wrestling. It is being delivered by The University of Waikato’s U Leisure arm.
