What mitzvah particularly appeals to you and fits with your personality and your life? For me my favorite mitzvah is that of hachnassat orchim, having guests. Ever since I can remember, I loved having people over. Even as a teenager, bringing friends home for shabbat was always a huge highlight of the week, sometimes having one, two, or even more friends at a time. When I was in yeshiva in Israel, I used to take a friend or two, sometime more, with me to someone’s house for shabbat, whether a family friend, or a family we met through the wonderful “Anywhere In Israel” program that would connect you to a Shabbos experience anywhere you wanted to go. The program explains on their website anywhereinisrael.org AnywhereinIsrael is a free service that expresses the love of Jews to other fellow Jews.
