6 TRANSPORTATION 6.1 Data Sources Transportation data were sourced mainly from the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). (a) Transportation Network: Base map was obtained from the DOTC, based on which road networks were updated by referring to free map sources such as the Accu-map. (b) Transportation Facilities: The locations of traffic signals and U-turn slots were provided by the MMDA. The locations of flyovers were checked with free map sources such as Accu-map and Google map.
