KERRISDALE CAMERAS This used list is used by our staff internally and we post it weekly on our website, usually on Mondays and Thursdays. To Note: Descriptions are abbreviated because they are from our 'back-office' inventory system and meant for internal-use and therefore not fully "user-friendly". Items shown here were in stock on the morning of the report's date. Contact us to check current availability as items may have sold since this report was run. The item in stock may only be available in one of our seven stores. In most cases, we can transfer an item to any of our stores within one to three business days. Items marked "reserve" may be on hold. Please contact us to check availability.     Press information Leica presents the TL-System: The new camera system impresses with perfected features, unique design, precise, high-performance lenses and a range of functional accessories and technical equipment. Building on the Leica T camera system, which has been continually advanced in terms speed, ease of handling and flexibility since its launch in 2014, the Leica TL embraces all the perfected features and leads the innovative camera concept into a new generation with even more innovations and new aspects of its design. One of these innovations is the doubling of the size of its internal buffer memory to 32 GB. Other new features are improved autofocus, especially in AF-C mode, and optimised compatibility with lenses from other Leica camera systems. For instance, the Leica TL now supports SL-Lenses with OIS and allows the use of Leica R-System lenses in combination with the R-Adapter L. A new Leica TL app with revised functions offers additional options for sharing pictures by email or on social networks and is now available for the first time for Android as well as iOS devices. The Leica TL will in available in three colour options from the date of launch: the silver and black versions are identical in design and construction, while the titanium-coloured option is distinguished by a bevelled edge (chamfer) to the top and bottom plates. Functional camera accessories, such as the new high-quality protectors in Nappa leather, which can stay on the camera when changing the battery, and colour-coordinated carrying straps in stone-grey, black, red and cemento, round off the TL system portfolio.

    M 0.8 The M 0.8 line of lenses consists of 7 focal lengths from 21 mm to 90 mm. The lenses use the high speed full frame M-Mount to maintain their small size while offering a variety of design improvements to make them more compatible with the cinema production environment. ICONIC IMAGES, CLASSIC CHARACTER The Leitz M 0.8 lenses bring a unique interpretation of light, skin tones and color that has inspired photographers and cinematographers for years. Naturally the lenses offer a sharp and focused center with gradual and pleasing fall off of contrast and light toward the edges, leading the view to the image center as well as adding dimensionality to the scene. This look and feel is now available to the cinematographer searching for something new. INCREDIBLY SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT The compact size of the Leitz M 0.8 lenses is made possible by retaining the Leica M-Mount. They range from 74 mm to 98 mm and weigh between 380-835 g. They are a dream combination for cameras in drone or gimbal configurations. Each lens has a standardized 80 mm front diameter with a 77 mm screw-in filter thread. The 0.8 module gear rings allow lens motors and follow focus systems to work seamlessly. CAMERA COMPATIBILITY The Leitz M 0.8 lenses use the Leica M-Mount rather than a PL-Mount to maintain their small size. Many cameras with interchangeable mounts or adapters can still use these lenses. Sony Venice, ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, Mini and AMIRA cameras can use the M-Mount adapter from Leitz for the cameras.

To help ensure availability, please book your rental as far in advance as possible (maximum 4 weeks ahead). To aid the staff of Leo's & the renting public, please inform us ASAP of any change in your bookings. This allows us to re-circulate the equipment. Overdue rentals are subject to full daily charge (see late & overdue Rentals). Please call the store to make a booking. We can not guarantee bookings made via email! If a RENTER has a two "NO-SHOW" rental bookings, rental reservation privileges will be suspended. Deposits & Payment: All rentals are prepaid in full at time of pickup. (Visa, M/C, Debit or Cash) Rental Deposits can be made by Visa, M/C, Bank Draft or cash (if paid via credit card, card holder must be present at the time of deposit). (Debit not accepted.) Valid Picture ID is required for all rentals. If the renter is from within B.C. (Picture ID with current local address, i.e., B.C. Drivers License or BCID is acceptable) then a lower deposit applies. (Passport will only accept as proof of ID with recent Government issue letters with local address). If renter is from out of province (out of country) Leo's will request a deposit based on the full replacement value of the equipment to be rented! (see below for additional information.) Leo's Cameras may request a deposit equal to the replacement value of said equipment at their discretion unless prior arrangements have been made.

    Press I nformation A new addition to the Leica T lens portfolio: the Leica APO- Macro-Elmarit-TL 60 mm f/2.8 ASPH. prime lens is available from today. In future, all lenses for the Leica T camera system will be marketed under the new name “TL”. Wetzlar, September 1, 2016. As of today, a new prime lens is available for the Leica T camera system – the Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-TL 60 mm f/2.8 ASPH. This macro lens is considered to be the reference lens in the APS-C segment. It delivers macro exposures with a reproduction ratio of 1:1 and impresses with best imaging performance. Just like the Leica Summilux-TL 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH., the Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-TL 60 mm f/2.8 ASPH. is available in a choice of black or silver. With this new addition, the lens portfolio of the Leica T camera system now offers a total of six lenses. Currently available are three prime lenses and three zoom lenses that together offer a range of focal lengths for every photographic situation. The two fast prime lenses, the Leica Summicron-TL 23 mm f/2 ASPH. and the Summilux-TL 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH., are classic focal lengths for reportage photography. The APO-Macro-Elmarit-TL 60 mm f/2.8 ASPH. complements them ideally as a lens for finely detailed close-up photography. The three compact zoom lenses, the Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-TL 11–23 mm f/3.5–4.5 ASPH., Vario-Elmar-TL 18–56 mm f/3.5–5.6 ASPH., and APO-Vario-Elmar-TL 55–135 mm f/3.5– 4.5 ASPH., cover an entire range of focal lengths equivalent to 17 to 200 mm in 35 mm format and deliver outstanding images with rich contrast from corner to corner of the frame.

NORITA 66 + Rittron 80/2 (same lens as standard Noritar 80/2, just silver) As a great fan of Norita 66 camera with great sadness I'm selling one of my reserve bodies, but since I have spare Rittron 80/2 I thought I will make it a great set :-) Rittron 80/2 is exactly the same lens as standard and legendary Noritar 80/2, Norita and Rittron were making the same camera and lens together with two different names :-) The only difference is that it's silver and mechanism to close aperture is in the front of the lens, not the back :-) Other than that it's exactly the same, so it will make exactly the same wonderful pictures as Noritar 80/2 :-) Camera is in GOOD condition and CLA was done in professional service, so it works as it should :-) Norita 66 is a great camera, very robust and with amazing viewfinder, very easy to focus :-) The LENS is in GREAT condition cosmetically and mechanically, optics are great, everything works 100% as it should :-) Pictures of the set and some images taken with it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fNHceCbjcJhYxHiZ7 PRICE: $ 1650 2. MINT Zeiss Biotar 50/1.4 in Leica M mount (can be used on any mirrorless camera via simple adapter, or with Techart AF adapter on Sony E or Nikon Z camera) Another great Biotar 50/1.4 that I was keeping for some special occasion, as this is the nicest one I've ever seen, but I guess there is no point in it, someone should just start using it :-) So here it is, MINT condition, beautiful outside, beautiful optics, mechanics as well - everything works as it should :-) It's converted to Leica M mount, so via additional inexpensive adapter (or Techart with Autofocus for Sony E and Nikon Z) can be mounted and used on all mirrorles cameras (except Leica M as there is no cut out for rangefinder actuator) :-) As for the Biotar 50/1.4 in general – it's simply most interesting 50mm lens in existence :-) Pictures of the lens and some images taken with it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/qVZVYz3gRNvDNJ9Z7 PRICE: $ 1700 3.
