The Cypressaires | Saturday April 14th | 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. The Monterey Peninsula Cypressaires, Directed by Kristen Thompson, are one of over 800 Chapters in the and Canada comprising the Barbershop Harmony Society. They specialize in the unaccompanied, four-part, close-harmony style of known as “Barbershop”, and have delivered hundreds of critically acclaimed performances all over the Monterey Peninsula since they formed in 1956. The Cypressaires are a mainstay in the local choral scene, and their many appearances at PG Good Old Days have become a tradition.

Soulfoot | Saturday April 14th | 11:30a.m. – 12:30p.m. "Soulfoot", is a four piece band based in Salinas, CA. Established June 2015. Band members are James Avena on lead vocals, Bruce Pittenger on lead guitar, rhythm guitar and vocals, Joyce Sampson on bass, acoustic guitar and vocals, and Bob Radel on drums and vocals. Performing locally, you can catch Soulfoot at local hot spots such as Carmel Valley's Baja Cantina and this year Santa Lucia Highlands Gala Food and Wine event onMay 19. Stu Heydon Blues Band Saturday April 14th | 5:30p.m.-6:30p.m. Stu was taught by John L. Hooker and has toured for over 30 years all over North America. For the past 20 years, Stu has taught blues and recorded most musicians in Monterey and continues to teach and record at Carmel Recording Studio in the barnyard. Stu will be inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame this September and already has a Lifetime Achievement Award, Best Guitarist Award, and a Paul Harris Award from the Carmel Rotary.

PGHS Breaker Girls Dance Team | Saturday April 14th | 11:00am - 11:45pm The Breaker Girls Dance Team was created in 2004 to help support the athletics and arts programs at Pacific Grove High School. As well as supporting PGHS, The Breaker Girls work to bring support and awareness to the performing arts community in Pacific Grove. The Breaker Girls are a performance and competitive team coached by Tatum May, and consists of 17 team members who strive to be positive role models for future dancers.

Rockstar Dance Studio | Saturday April 14th | 1:15p.m. – 2:00p.m. RockStar Dance Studio Show Team is celebrating their 8th season. A team full of creative and hard working dancers, they are ambassadors for RockStar to show their dedication and talent in their community. Show Team are competing this season with one more competition in April along with an exciting invitation to perform live at Disneyland on May 4th. With hard work comes the rewards of performing all over the state. RockStar Show Team will perform at the studio's 8th annual showcase on Saturday June 2, featuring the theme of Disney called "Once Upon A Dream". Summer will end the official 2017-2018 season at nationals.

Monterey Country Dance | Saturday, April 14th | 2:15-3:00p.m. Contra Dance! Despite its many similarities to square dancing, contra dancing isn’t exactly that. Pulsing and flowing in and out of patterns, this style of dance falls under a traditional folk dance akin to line dancing. Beginners shouldn’t hesitate, as step- by-step instructions are shouted out by the caller, while live music keeps the energy consistent. Come join in. Sweet Dreams | Saturday April 14th | 10:15-11:00a.m Sweet Dreams is an acoustic/electric trio featuring a wide range of styles including Americana, R&B and laced with their own special twists. The band is made up of Robin Ellison (guitar, vocals and keys) and Ken Klein (guitar and vocals) who met in 2014 and have enjoyed a close collaboration ever since. The recent addition of Dan Blake (bass and vocals) completes the group. All three sing and harmonize which forms the foundation of their sound.

Slingshot | Saturday April 14th | 11:30a.m. – 12:15p.m. Featuring powerful vocals. Venetia has been singing since she was five years old, most of training was learned in Church. She has amazing timing and feel for the music. This gives her the ability to make each song her own. Her stage presence and interaction with the crowd makes her special. Venetia has two children and just recently had her first Grandchild. Venetia resides in Manteca CA. Jim Miksche provides fullness with his guitar playing. Jim has been playing guitar since the age of five. Musically active in choirs and bands all throughout his years in school. Jim was accepted and attended the Berklee College of music and graduated with a degree in Studio guitar, song writing and jazz composition. Jim resides in Modesto CA with his wife and two children. Bass Player Craig Corfiatis migrated to , CA from St. Louis in 1975 with the rock band "Antioch", where they recorded and played until 1977. He then played with "Skybound" until moving to Northern CA in 1980. He plays in various Church Worship Bands and played in the well received classic Rock Band " The Edsels." He occasionally subs for Sacremento's own "Eight Track Massacre."Craig has two daughters and two Grandchildren. Dennis Gonsalves grew up in the bay area, started playing drums while in choir and saw someone play a snare drum to “The Little Drummer Boy” was hooked. He has played many styles of music and played with the Drama Arts Group at Cal State Hayward.

Operation Rock | Saturday April 14th | 12:45p.m. – 1:30p.m. Monterey's very own Operation Rock is a refreshing blend of young talent, playing classic rock songs written far before their time. Frank, Joe, Billy, Chris, and John are no strangers to . Founded in 2008, the band has played shows all over Monterey County. They also won the 2015 Battle of the Bands in Pacific Grove and played at both the Salinas and Monterey 4th of July Festivals. A mix of 80s-era throwbacks and hits, Operation Rock is sure to keep you wildly entertained.

Darlyn Pearl and Tony Archimedes | Saturday April 14th | 2:00p.m. – 2:45p.m. The Duo performs throughout the greater Bay Area with their band, Mood To Groove formed for the love and groove of live entertainment. Darlyn and Tony are featured at many wineries, hotels and restaurants and live events and have their own radio show on Sunday evenings. The duo has performed as well for celebrities, grand ceremonies and military functions On radio and television, pod casts and continue to be a favorite among their audiences. They perform swinging standards, bouncy bossas, Rockin blues and Romantic novelties. When they are not writing their own music or performing, they are reaching out and teaching in the community.

Bay Belles | Saturday April 14th | 3:15p.m. – 4:00p.m. The Monterey Bay Belles Women’s Barbershop Chorus is dedicated to the craft of four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style and we’re delighted to be singing for you today! The 5 piece band formed two years ago and have since played numerous shows in the Monterey area including the annual Halloween Trashbash. American Trashbird is also preparing to release their first EP, Treetops, due out in April of 2018.

Samz | Saturday April 14th | 3:00p.m. – 3:45p.m. Samz School of Rock Youth Bands are a group of young talented students from Samz School of Music. Their musical style features diverse and modern rock hits as well as classic rock favorites by Zepplin, , ZZ Top, Pat Benatar, as well as some . Our youth bands have entertained audiences at many community events, music festivals and fundraisers throughout Monterey County. A few highlights are “Rocking the Midway” at the Salinas Sports Complex as the opening band for the Aerosmith Concert in 2016 and upcoming this July they will again be playing that venue for the Concert! RazzVio | Saturday, April 14th | 4:15pm-5:00p.m. Razzvio is an electric violinist and singer who reinvents familiar pop and rock arrangements from an entirely different angle. Through live looping, she blends powerhouse vocals with her unique violin designed to build songs with the sophistication of a string quartet. Razzvio’s all new brand of interactive electric string pop will make you rethink the electric violin and is a perfect complement to any outdoor event, college, winery, corporate party, or family restaurant. Singer/violinist Razz is a songwriter and classically trained musician. She performs with a custom 6-string electric violin called a ‘Viper Violin’ which allows her to sing and play at the same time and encompasses the range of a violin, viola, and cello. Razz has toured throughout the United States with her intimate, self-sustained, and volume-controlled setup; delighting listeners in concert halls and street corners since 2013. Razzvio has released two , ‘Mercurial’ and ‘Perpetual Hybrid’. Her newest ‘Song of the Explorer’ is scheduled to be released in 2017.

The Proudest Monkeys | Sunday, April 15th | 10:00a.m. – 11:00a.m. The Proudest Monkeys is a musical collective operating out of Monterey, California. In 2016, band leader Trevor Lucier released the album, "Destruction of the Species", to a welcoming, and supportive local music scene. Following a successful first show, which was declared one of the area's best shows of the year by local publication The Monterey County Weekly; the rest of the group came together around a mutual conviction that music is a potent resource in the movement to bring humanity closer together. With this ideal in mind, The Proudest Monkeys have set out to perform all over the Central California Area in an effort to bring together the many local scenes that exist in the region. Equipped with an arsenal of several albums worth of original material, the band is currently in the process of building a hefty war-chest in order to get their high-energy theatrics and concepts captured precisely in the studio. Jamaica Belly Dance | Sunday, April 15th | 11:30a.m. – 12:30p.m. Jamaica has been teaching and performing belly dance on the Monterey Peninsula for over 20 years and has been an instructor at Monterey Peninsula College (ethnic dance, emphasis belly dance) for almost 10 years. Many of her students have gone on to become professional dancers. This Good Old Days performance includes students past and present, from 1st time performers, to professional.

Culann’s Hounds | Sunday, April 15th | 3:45p.m. – 5:15p.m. Culann's Hounds have been playing shows for almost two decades. Starting their run in a small Irish bar in the inner Sunset of San Francisco called The Blackthorn Tavern in 1999, their steady rise has been a credit to their love of the music and ability to consistantly deliver hard driving quality shows with a strong dose of rebel attitude, humor, and a few drops of whiskey. 5 albums later they have multiple national and international tours under their belt in addition to headlining festivals and large music venues. Though the bands is in it's third incarnation, founding members Steve Gardner and Mike Kelleher have performed virtually every show that band has ever played. The thread that has held the band together is the same one that has drawn the members back to their roots: love of traditional Irish music. Fiddle tunes, pipes, whistles, bodhrans, songs, fun. Culann's Hounds is ready to enter their third decade of performance by welcoming John Tait on bodhrán and Tim Hill on uilleann pipes. Dan Duffin, longtime Hounds , holds down the low end with amazing skill.

Pacific Brass Band | Sunday, April 15th | 11:30a.m. – 12:15p.m. The Pacific Brass Band, (a California non-profit 501(c)3 corporation) is a "British- Style" Brass Band, was founded in 1990 and gave its first concert in the spring of 1991. The members of the Pacific Brass Band come from Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties in California. Membership varies somewhat, but generally stands at about 30-35 musicians. We enjoy introducing American audiences of all ages to Brass Band music, a genre rarely heard in North America. The band's repertoire consists of traditional Brass Band literature, as well as American folk songs, rags, marches and popular and theater music. Much of our music comes from publishers in Europe. Conductor and Staff Arranger Jim O’Briant arranges several selections for us each year, and we also obtain arrangements through other Brass Bands, often trading our arrangements for theirs. Grumbling Ginger | Sunday, April 15th | 12:45a.m. – 1:15a.m. Grumbling Ginger perform original, acoustic with driving rhythms, featuring a variety of stringed and percussion instruments. Prior to forming the group in 2000, the two core members had played extensively on the UK folk circuit, and a Grumbling Ginger concert recreates the atmosphere of a British with songs, storytelling and humor. Grumbling Ginger have released two albums and are currently working on a third. Hailing from the Monterey Bay, they play songs that are a mix of folk, rock and Americana. Their voices harmonize as only brothers can, with graceful melodies, poignant singing and deft instrumentation. The Rayburn Brothers Band has created a brand of California roots rock that has depth and energy. Their songs convey the essence of love, longing and pain that only seasoned songwriters can express in such heartfelt terms. The Rayburn Brothers sing from the soul, touching in their audiences a chord of the human experience.

Acquire A Capella | Sunday, April 15th | Goodies Stage | 3:15p.m. – 4:00p.m. Acquire is a co-ed cappella group from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Formed in February 2007, they entertain audiences with a wide range of material arranged solely by members of the all-student group. Guitars Not Guns | Sunday, April 15th | 4:30.m. – 5:15p.m. The Guitars Not Guns Band rehearses at the Marina Teen Center every Saturday. They play a fun mix of traditional and popular songs on acoustic guitars. The students range in age from 6-17 and come from all over Monterey County. Guitars Not Guns is a non-profit organization that fund raises to provide free instruments and instruction to the students, who earn their guitars to keep through participation in the program. All instructors are volunteer. The Monterey County Chapter has classes all over the peninsula and has distributed more than 1500 guitars in the last seven years.

His two sons, Gene III (drums) & Nate (sax) are joined by PG bass legend Randy Uchida to comprise a fun, energetic set of hard driving jazz-funk-fusion music. Pop Rocks | Sunday, April 15th | 3:00pm-3:45pm Long ago, in a garage far far away, Pop Rocks was formed by three dads, their first victory against the drudgery of work and diapers. During rehearsals, they managed to concoct secret plans to turn preschool singalongs into metal anthems and old covers into catharsis with enough power to destroy their parental malaise. Pursued by life's sinister monotony, Pop Rocks prepare a new set of songs to entertain kids and their parents...and restore freedom to their galaxy...

Del Monte Brass Band | Sunday, April 15th | 4:15pm - 5:00pm The Del Monte Brass (DMB) is an all-volunteer wind and percussion ensemble whose membership is made up of students, faculty, staff, and spouses from the Naval Postgraduate School and Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, as well as local community members. Originally founded in 2003, DMB began with a brass quintet that quickly evolved into a larger brass ensemble, and, over the years, added percussion and woodwind sections. The DMB rehearses twice a week and performs at all NPS graduations, military birthday balls, and other special military ceremonies as requested. In addition, they provide live entertainment for fund-raising and community events such as International Students Day, Sip the Peninsula, Pacific Grove Good Old Days, Del Monte Mall Military Appreciation Day, and the Monterey Peninsula Country Club SFB Invitational.
