Jonas Markgraf is PhD student and Research Associate to Prof. Mark Hallerberg in the research project “Public Finance through Public Banks”. His research focuses on corporate governance of banks and the effect of politically connected banks on political processes. He holds a MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and obtained a BA in Political Science and Economics from the Free University of Berlin. Amongst others, Jonas has worked as a research and teaching assistant, and as a Carlo- Schmid fellow and consultant at the International Trade Centre.
