Mâcon 2015 – FRAD071_8J www.archives71.fr – Archives départementales de Saône-et-Loire © 2 INTRODUCTION Origine du fonds En 1961 le château familial de Préty est vendu par les descendants Canat de Chizy de la branche aînée de la famille Canat. Le cabinet de Marcel Canat de Chizy, soigneusement conservé jusqu'alors, a été presque entièrement donné aux Archives nationales à cette occasion. Ce cabinet contenait la somme de ses travaux, notes, transcriptions, manuscrits et imprimés constituant ses « Études », et l'ensemble des pièces historiques qu'il avait collationnées, les « Originaux ». Ces deux parties forment la « Collection Marcel Canat de Chizy ». Cette Collection touchant à l'histoire locale, les archives concernent des lieux spécifiques. Les Archives nationales ont donc réparti la Collection en 1963 entre les services concernés. Un état sommaire a été rédigé à cette occasion par Jean Rigaud, directeur des Archives départementales de Côte d’Or. Ainsi la Côte-d'Or, la Nièvre et la Saône-et-Loire, ont-elles reçu des documents. La Saône-et-Loire qui connaît Marcel Canat de Chizy pour ses travaux d'érudit, a ouvert un fonds Canat de Chizy (8 J).

Description of the product to which the name in point 1 applies ‘Comté’ is made entirely of whole cow’s milk used in raw condition. It is a cheese with pressed, cooked paste that is salted on the surface or in brine. At the time of marketing, which takes place after a minimum maturation period of 120 days, the cheese’s paste has an ivory to yellow colour and an ‘ opening ’ that may reach the size of a small cherry. ‘Comté’ contains a minimum of 45 g and a maximum of 54 g of fat per 100 g of cheese after total desiccation and the dry matter must not weigh less than 62 g per 100 g of cheese. The salt content is not less than 0.6 g of sodium chloride per 100 g of cheese. The water content of the defatted cheese does not exceed 54%. ‘Comté’ is presented to consumers in the form of a wheel that weighs 32 to 45 kg and has a diameter of 55 to 75 centimetres and a straight or slightly convex heel 8-13 cm in height. It has a scrubbed, solid and grainy rind that is golden yellow to brown in colour.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1128/2013 of 7 November 2013 approving minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Morbier (PDO)) COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) No 1128/2013 of 7 November 2013 approving minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (Morbier (PDO)) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 November 2012 on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs(1), and in particular the second subparagraph of Article 53(2) thereof, Whereas: (1) Pursuant to the first subparagraph of Article 53(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012, the Commission has examined France’s application for the approval of amendments to the specification for the protected designation of origin ‘Morbier’ registered under Commission Regulation (EC) No 1241/2002(2), as amended by Regulation (EC) No 1027/2009(3). (2) The purpose of the application is to amend the specification by giving more detailed information on the product description, the proof of origin, the method of production, labelling, national requirements and the structures responsible for monitoring the designation. (3) The Commission has examined the amendments in question and decided that they are justified. Since the amendments are minor within the meaning of the third subparagraph of Article 53(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012, the Commission may approve them without following the procedure set out in Articles 50 to 52 of the Regulation, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: Article 1 The specification for the protected designation of origin ‘Morbier’ is hereby amended in accordance with Annex I to this Regulation.
