2005 University of Cincinnati Baseball Year End Notes Final Record: 25-30 Conference USA: 10-19 (10th of 12) Home: 16-13 2005 Baseball Game Notes Away: 9-17 2005 Schedule and Results SETTING THE SCENE: The 2005 season was one of considerable improvement for the Date Opponent Time/Result University of Cincinnati baseball team as it started its quest back to its winning tradition. While Feb. 11 at No. 28 Florida Atlantic L, 7-6 (13 ings.) the season did end without a Conference USA Tournament berth, the Bearcats finished with Feb. 12 at No. 28 Florida Atlantic L, 6-3 a 25-30 overall record, a 10-win increase over the past two campaigns. UC also won 10 C-USA Feb. 13 at No. 28 Florida Atlantic L, 11-9 Feb. 18 at Duke W, 3-1 games, its highest total since recording 11 in 2002. The Bearcats should be well stocked for Feb. 19 at Duke W, 14-13 their first season of BIG EAST competition in 2006, as a total of 19 letterwinners are expected Feb. 20 at Duke W, 6-3 to return, along with a talented freshman class. In putting together the longest hit streak of the season by any Bearcat, the Mar. 11 WESTERN MICHIGAN Cancelled senior also set a new personal best, topping his previous high of four straight set earlier this Mar. 12 WESTERN MICHIGAN Cancelled season.
