Staff Contract No. of Position(s) 1 IITB Project Recruitment: Project title: Biomedical Engineering and Technology Centre (BETC) Incubation About the project: About the project: BETiC, IIT Bombay is a leading center of medical device innovation, with team members drawn from mechanical, medical, design, electronics, materials and software backgrounds, who are working closely with leading doctors to develop, test and commercialise a variety of innovative and affordable products. The center is funded by both state and central government (RGSTC, Mumbai and DST, Delhi). The work environment provides considerable scope for learning and networking.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: 1. B.Tech/M.Tech in Biomedical 2. Experience: B.Tech + 2 years / M.Tech, in: quality management system (ISO 13485) for novel medical device development, manufacturing, testing, commercialization, regulation, certification and, preferably in med-tech innovation center or technology business incubator. Job Profile: Planning, implementation and monitoring of quality management system (ISO 13485) for novel medical device development, prototyping, pilot manufacturing, testing, commercialization, regulation, certification, project management, facility creation and management, technical services, mentoring and training, event organization and process streamlining.

Pay Details: Level O3: Salary range from Rs.40000/- - Rs.56000/- (4000.00) + Rs.5000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m. General information: The position is temporary for a period of 1 year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
