Speaking of the planning meeting, I can’t help but be impressed by all the officers of this chapter. We are privileged to have officers who are competent, knowledgeable, efficient, conscientious and easy to work with. I am looking forward to working with them this year (and perhaps beyond, if that opportunity arises) to make the San Francisco chapter work for you to the best of all our abilities. David shared many of his insights on hammers, Israel Stein, RPT soundboards and scale design. He was then able to  demonstrate some of the tonal differences using the variety of hammers installed on grands at JB Piano.
