Getting the right balance between the needs of our society for road-based transport, and the effects of the Assembly’s road network on our wildlife is a complex and often controversial issue. The Plan itself is designed to both challenge and inspire those who work with the Directorate on the National Assembly’s road network – and, as importantly, to challenge those of us who use the network to think more about the wildlife there.
