Calls to Police
There were 156 calls for the entire Wellington Rural Beat area, with 22 police logs for the month from the beat. These included several road related issues, along the A38, West Buckland, Monument Road and Ford Street. There was a suspicious call from Sampford Arundle, 2 males were seen by a farm building, and when challenged ran off. There was a call to the Police at Holywell Lake regarding a concern for welfare of a female, a domestic related call at Wrangway and an Alarm sounding at Pleamore Cross. On the 20/12 at approx. 19.45 there was an attempt burglary at a Unit on Westpark Industrial Estate. The roller door was attempted with force, but was unsuccessful. CCTV has been collected and the investigation is on-going. Reports of Antisocial Behavior

Speedwatch training has been set for Tuesday 12 January 2016, for volunteers covering Holywell Lake and Ford Street. Site Assessments have been granted and the Speed Enforcement Unit will be lending their support in the New Year together with myself and PCSO Fyne.
