Email:[email protected] ABSTRACT The self-built resources of university libraries are an important part of the digital resource system of libraries. It is a long-term and necessary work to study sustainable development. This work investigated the self-built resources of 36 public undergraduate colleges and universities in Hubei province by means of website visits and network interviews, finding that there are some problems in current construction, such as outdated theme, backward technology and low utilization rate. It put forward transformation strategies such as introducing new artificial intelligence technology, reorganizing library big data, innovating library services, positioning the development direction of self-built resources, and collaboratively constructing university big data, so as to provide reference for the transformation and construction of self-built resources to adapt to intelligent technology. For example, there are mountains, skiing and swimming renting the local houses; and theme hotels, vacationing hotels, Traders Hotel, and homestay the other is that homestays are emerged in Europe and the US, for tourists’ staying. The homestay has its own unique represented by British B&B and American Home stay. As far characteristics and development. Balanced land use functions (LUFs) can promote sustainable land use and reduces land pressures from limited land resources. In this study, we propose a new conceptual index system using the entropy weight method, regional center of gravity theory, coupling coordination degree model and obstacle factor identification model for LUFs assessment and spatial-temporal analysis. This framework was applied to 17 cities in central China’s Hubei Province using 39 indicators in terms of production–living–ecology analysis during 1996–2016. The result shows that (1) LUFs showed an overall upward trend during the study period, while the way of promotion varied with different dimensions. Production function (PF) experienced a continuous enhancement during the study period. Living function (LF) was similar in this aspect, but showed a faster rising tendency.

However, their origin remains a matter of debate, and has been interpreted previously as the result of fluvial erosion after peneplain uplift. Here, a new formation mechanism for these low-relief surface landscapes has been proposed, based on the analyses of low-relief surface distribution, swath profiles, χ mapping, river capture landform characteristics, and a numerical analytical model. The results showed that the low-relief surfaces in the Three Gorges area could be divided into higher elevation and lower elevation surfaces, distributed mainly in the highlands between the Yangtze River and Qingjiang River.

  • First LEDDRA Plenary Meeting in Yichang, China
First LEDDRA Plenary Meeting in Yichang, China News Date 27 - 30 April 2011 Location Yichang, China Responses to soil erosion in agricultural areas in China as well as the exchange of experiences as regards good practice in the EU in soil conservation management and monitoring were among the subjects of the first plenary meeting of the FP7-project LEDDRA. The meeting took place in Yichang (China) from 27 to 30 April 2011 and was organised by the Changjing River Scientific Research Institute (CRSRI). Ruta Landgrebe and Sandra Naumann participated as representatives of Ecologic Institute. The participants of the meeting included the LEDDRA project partners and the Chinese institutions involved in research work in the Zhang Jiachong study site. During a two-day field trip, the Chinese partners presented soil conservation measures undertaken to address the negative impacts of soil erosion by water and to reverse the trend of the loss of soil organic matter and productivity. At three different sites visited, namely Zhangjiachong Small Watershed (Zigui County), Quxi Small Watershed (Zigui County) and Juntianba Small Watershed (Yiling district, Hubei Province), a wide variety of land use forms (e.g. farmland, forest land and tee terraces) and measures were observed. Soil erosion control measures applied at the study sites include, for example, terracing, ban on grazing, closing hillside or forest maintenance measures and combined bio-engineering measures with farming practices (e.g. soil edge terraces and stone edge terraces were constructed together with a surface water system for irrigation). The evaluation of these control measures revealed an improvement in soil conditions and of the production and living conditions (e.g.
