BUSINESS Grant Amount Grant Summary ASEAN New Zealand Business Council: $7,800 to bring a keynote speaker from Malaysia for the ASEAN Forum 2015 in Auckland in August, 2014. Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce: $5,500 to bring a keynote speaker from China for the China Connection conference in Christchurch, March, 2015. India New Zealand Business Council: $10,000 to bring a keynote speaker from India for the India Business Summit 2015 in Auckland, March. KPMG: $18,000 for two accounting students to undertake an internship in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, between December 2014 and February 2015. Jack McAuley: $5,000 to undertake an internship with Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan between November 2015 and February 2016. Dr JC Wang: $4,869.57 to bring a keynote speaker from Taiwan to participate in the Foundation’s seminars in Auckland and Wellington in July 2015. Jonathan Glassey: $5,300 to undertake an internship with the Kyushu Railway Company in Fukuoka, Japan, between January and February 2015. Lemongrass Productions: $10,000 for sponsorship of the annual food festival “Taste of Auckland” in November 2015. Tina Fu: $7,000 to undertake an internship with the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan between November 2015 and February 2016. ASEAN Young Business Leaders Initiative: $120,000 for a forum to provide an opportunity for New Zealand business leaders and the Foundation’s Leadership Network members to interact with ASEAN Young Business Leaders Initiative participants in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ARTS AND COMMUNITY Ahilan Karunaharan: $2,500 for staging ‘The Mourning After’ in Auckland in June 2015. Andrea Selwood: $2,000 for attending an artist’s residency at Bamboo Curtain Studios, Taipei, Taiwan. Artspace: $2,000 for hosting the Thai group Lowcostcosplay exhibition in Auckland in October 2014. Asian Events Trust $2,000 to host international performers for the annual Chinese New Year festival in Wellington in February 2015. Asia New Zealand Foundation Operational: $12,530 for New Zealand artist Xin Cheng to undertake a three month artists residency at SeMA Nanji, Seoul, South Korea in October 2015. Asia New Zealand Foundation Operational: $11,000 for a New Zealand artist to undertake a three month residency at Surface Arts in Bangkok, Thailand in 2016. Asia New Zealand Foundation Operational: $16,500 for a New Zealand dance professional to undertake a residency at T.H.E Dance Company in Singapore in 2016. Asia New Zealand Foundation Operational: $11,100 for New Zealand artist Hayley King to undertake a three month residency in Taiwan for the sixth Asia New Zealand Foundation/Taipei Artist Village artist residency exchange in 2015 and for costs associated with the Taiwanese artist who will undertake a residency at Whitireia Polytechnic, Porirua in August-October 2015. Asia New Zealand Foundation Operational: $15,716 for New Zealand artist Eddie Clemens to undertake a residency at Youkobo Art Space, Tokyo, Japan between October and December 2015. Auckland Art Gallery: $3,000 to host Chinese artist Yang Fudong and Taiwanese artist Lee Mingwei for exhibitions in 2015-2016. Auckland Festival Trust: $3,000 to stage ‘The Kitchen’ as part of the 2015 festival. Auckland Writers and Readers Festival Charitable Trust: $3,000 to bring Asian writers Xinran and Edwin Thumboo to the 2015 festival in May 2015. AUT University St Paul St Gallery: $2,000 to stage ‘Invisible Energy’ in February and March 2015. Bevan Shaw: $2,500 to undertake a residency at Red Gate Gallery, Beijing, China for two months between March and April 2015. Biljana Ciric: $1,500 to stage a collaborative exhibition in China in November 2014. Christchurch Arts Festival Trust: $2,000 to present ‘The Mooncake’ and ‘The Kumara’ as part of the 2015 festival. Claudia Arozqueta: $2,000 to undertake a residency at Red Gate Gallery, Beijing, China, in March 2015. Joko Susilo: $2,000 towards hosting guest performers for 20 years of gamelan in the Otago celebrations in Dunedin in August 2015. Katrina Thomson: $1,000 to participate in Art Islands Tokyo, Japan, in September 2014. New Zealand School of Dance: $3,300 to bring Singaporean choreographer Kuik Swee Boon to Wellington to teach students his work for their graduation season between June and November 2015. New Zealand Barok Inc: $1,700 to host Japanese concertmaster Ryo Terakado for their Auckland concert between July and August 2015. Pretty Asian Theatre Company: $1,400 to conduct a workshop to develop a play "Orientation" in Auckland in January 2015. RM Project: $2,000 to host an artist from Asia for a residency programme in 2015. Raewyn Turner and Brian Harris: $2,000 to undertake a residency in Udaipur in November 2014. Renee Liang: $3,500 to stage a new play ‘Under the Same Moon’ as part of the Chinese New Year Festival in Wellington in February 2015. Shigeyuki Kihara: $2,000 to travel to Korea to participate in the Daegu Photo Biennale in September-October 2014. Taranaki International Arts Festival: $6,000 for the Tauranga Arts Festival and the Nelson Arts Festival to present ‘The Mooncake’ and ‘The Kumara’ in 2015. Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts: $2,000 to stage an exhibition alongside the Taipei International Book Exhibition in February 2015.
