A4, RS 6, TT-R: to Be Continued Touring car customer sport A4, RS 6, TT-R: to be continued The works involvement in the DTM (German Touring Car Masters) with the Audi A4, and the customer sport sportscar programme with the Audi R8, are two of the three elements of the Audi Motorsport involvement during the 2004 season. Touring car customer sport forms the third element. In the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC), Team KMS Motorsport aims to defend their title with the Audi A4, developed in accordance with the Super 2000 regulations, with the support of Audi Sweden. The STCC expands next year by crossing the borders of neighbouring countries: One of the ten races held during 2004 will be in Denmark and another in Norway. Audi also lines up as defending champions in the North American SPEED GT World Challenge. The new Audi RS 6 Competition, with which Randy Pobst won the championship and Audi the Manufacturers’ title first time out, will be reworked in many areas and further developed by Champion Racing. With one exception, all races held will be part of the programme supporting the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) – an enormous relief for the team of Dave Maraj, which contests both championships under the banner of Audi Sport North America. Also, two of the Abt-Audi TT-R cars, which ran in last years DTM, will be racing again in 2004: They will serve as basis for the cars that Team Abt Sportsline, with support from quattro GmbH and the Audi Sport Customer Sport Department, will enter in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring on the 12/13 June 2004. The second weekend in June is a special highlight in the 2004 Audi Motorsport Programme: The two 24-hour races at Nürburgring and at Le Mans are held simultaneously. “This clash of dates is of course very unfortunate, but it offers an interesting challenge to be successful in both of the world’s biggest 24-hour races on one weekend,” explains Head of Audi Sport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich. .

AUDI UK Product and Technology Communications Yeomans Drive, Blakelands Milton Keynes MK14 5AN Tel: 01908 601407 / 01908 601980 Email: [email protected] / [email protected] 24 October 2018 Scaling new heights of performance - Extensive update for the faster, sharper new Audi R8 Introducing a new naming designation, a more defined road presence and even greater performance More power and torque for the V10 naturally aspirated engines 570PS quattro and 620PS performance quattro version Available as a Coupé and Spyder from market launch Modified suspension components for even more dynamic handling Striking exterior design includes a wider, flatter Singleframe grille UK ordering expected to open in early 2019 Neckarsulm, October 24, 2018 – "Born on the track, built for the road." This intrinsic Audi Sport philosophy rings particularly true in the case of the new R8, which is set to take to the road in early 2019 featuring a raft of changes, but also two important constants – retention of the much loved naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine, and suffusion with a sizeable dose of racing DNA achieved by sharing 50 per cent of components with the R8 LMS GT3 competition car revealed recently at the Paris Motor Show. Highlights of the latest R8 range include more power, torque and performance, including a first foray beyond the 200mph mark for several versions, and even greater handling precision thanks to suspension and steering revisions. The power of the naturally aspirated V10 engine at the heart of the R8 is now uprated to 570PS in the 'standard' R8 Coupé and Spyder V10 quattro.
