Qatar Chamber organises Food Safety Summit

Qatar Chamber has hosted a Food Safety Summit, organised recently by ACT Masters, Training and Development Centre, with the participation of 60 employees in the fields of food safety and security in hotels and restaurants, public health, agriculture, dairy products, and food services. The summit aims to meet the needs of workers in the food sector by providing a comprehensive programme by a number of trainers and experts working in food safety in hotels and restaurants. It also discussed a number of topics related to food safety, the most important of which are the methods of improving food safety programmes, ways of addressing food safety issues in the market as a result of the increasing business development, and the opportunities for professional development of workers in this field. Qatar Chamber said the summit was an ideal opportunity to share ideas and inspire participants to find solutions to the challenges they face in food safety.
