Did you know that girls have more taste buds than boys do? Or that slugs have 3,000 teeth and four noses? And who knew that gorillas burp when they’re happy? This exhibition is packed with amazing facts and eye-popping photos that prove truth really is stranger than fiction. Weird But True is based on the hugely popular page of quirky, fun facts that many readers of National Geographic Kids mag- azine turn to first. Included in this exhibition is an interactive app from National Geographic Kids with more than THE FUTURE OF FOOD 300 Weird But True kid-friendly facts. Why are we interested in the future of food? Food connects us, nourishes us, and defines us. In our rapidly changing, globalized world, we need to understand how food has made us who we are today and how it shapes our future. This exhibition takes a look at how we will grow and eat in the future to meet the needs of an expanding population. Food does more than just keep us alive. It plays a central role in connecting us to the land, to cultural heritage, and to each other.

Featuring the work of over 27 photographers and utilizing rich infographics, this exhibition is eye-opening.
