'OUR WILD HEARTS' CAST BIOS CAMBRIE SCHRODER (Willow Johnson) – Cambrie Schroder Was Raised Traveling and Being Exposed ‘OUR WILD HEARTS’ CAST BIOS CAMBRIE SCHRODER (Willow Johnson) – Cambrie Schroder was raised traveling and being exposed to the entertainment business as the daughter of actor Ricky Schroder. Eager to join her father on screen, she proposed a movie idea about a girl and horse in the hopes of proving she was serious about acting. “Wild Hearts” is Schroder’s dream come true. Schroder is fluent in Spanish and enjoys ballet, horseback riding, competitive swimming and theater. She is currently a sophomore at Oaks Christian High School where she maintains a 4.0 GPA and is eager to get to work acting again. ### RICKY SCHRODER (Jack Thomas) – With over 100 TV commercials and countless print ads under his belt, Ricky Schroder made his Hollywood debut at eight years old as the emotionally tortured son of a washed-up boxer in the 1979 remake of the drama “The Champ.” The performance earned him a Golden Globe® for “New Star of the Year” and launched the beginning of his successful career. Today, his credits consist of over 50 movies including, “Crimson Tide,” “Pool Hall Junkies,” “Black Cloud,” “Across the Tracks,” “The Lost Battalion,” “Blood Done Sign My Name” and “Lonesome Dove,” the Western co-starring Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, Angelica Houston and Diane Lane and garnered seven Emmys®, a Peabody® and two Golden Globes®. It also includes 250 episodes of TV series such as “Silver Spoons,” “NYPD Blue,” “Scrubs,” “Strong Medicine,” “24” and “To the Mat.” More recently in his career, Schroder added the title of writer, director and producer to his name, with his first film “Black Cloud” in 2004, an award-winning music video for Brad Paisley in 2006 and the projects “Hellhounds,” “Starting Strong.” His production company “Ricky Schroder Productions” (RSP) focuses on projects that stand the test of time. He has also become a trusted production partner for the US Army. Much like his projects through RSP, Schroder has ‘stood the test of time,’ reinventing himself numerous times throughout his career and garnering various awards and nominations including a Golden Globe, Director of the Year, Best Actor, SAG Award Emmy Award and many more. With his enthusiasm and work ethic, Schroder has many more roles and projects yet to explore. ### MARTIN KOVE (Grizz) – Martin Kove is a New York born, strong featured, narrow eyed actor (more) HALLMARK MOVIE CHANNEL / ‘OUR WILD HEARTS’ – Cast Bios – Page 2 who has portrayed a mixed bag of both good and bad guys. He first turned up on screen in several minor roles, and got himself noticed as the villainous Nero the Hero in the low budget road race “Death Race 2000” (1975), and then as Clem the sadistic rigger, breaking Jan-Michael Vincent's ribs in “White Line Fever” (1975). He cropped up in the hit TV series "Cagney & Lacey" (1981) as honest Police Detective Isbecki, and then got on the wrong side of rampaging Sylvester Stallone in “Rambo: First Blood Part II” (1985). Kove probably scored his greatest visibility to the public in the hugely successful “The Karate Kid” (1984) in which he played John Kreese, the head instructor of the Cobra Kai karate school, a role he reprised in the two sequels, “The Karate Kid, Part II” (1986) and “The Karate Kid, Part III” (1989). Kove has since kept consistently busy, primarily in the action / thriller film genre, and has notched up over 80 film appearances to date, as well as numerous TV guest roles. ### ANGELA LINDVALL (Katie Johnson) – Known for her versatility, Angela Lindvall has appeared on the cover of major publications including the international versions of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, W, ID, and many more. In 2010, she became the face of John Hardy, appearing in all advertising campaigns through 2011. Off the runway, Lindvall has appeared in Roman Coppola’s “CQ” in 2002 and the cult film “Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang” in 2005. In 2012, she was the host of “Project Runway All Stars.” An active environmentalist, Lindvall co-hosted one of Discovery Channel’s first Planet Green shows, “Alter Eco,” with Adrian Grenier. Lindvall currently resides in Los Angeles with her two boys on a small farm, which she is developing for sustainable agriculture. ### CHRIS MASSOGLIA (Ryan) – Chris Massoglia was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and began acting under the names "Chris Kelly" and "Chris J. Kelly," but later decided to use his family name. His first lead role was in "A Plumm Summer," 2007. This experience has helped her understand budget, value, design and “what sells." In 2008, Schroder was chosen as one of the contestants on Bravo’s hit show “Top Design” and while she ended the show on her own terms third in the competition, she arguably has been the most successful contestant of that season. She has since appeared and hosted specials on “Access Hollywood,” TV Guide’s “Fashion Team” and Hallmark Channel’s new talk show “Home & Family.” With an initial interest in producing by co-producing “Black Cloud,” the film known to have put country singer Tim McGraw on the acting radar, Schroder re-discovered her interest and passion for reality and branded entertainment. Schroder teamed with husband, actor/director Ricky Schroder, to create Ricky Schroder Productions (RSP) where she acts as a creative and strategic producer. Her eye for beauty and composition combined with her business sense make her an invaluable asset to the company, working very closely on every aspect of production, especially set design. --HALLMARK MOVIE CHANNEL-- .

The sleek helicopter began its descent against a backdrop of breathtaking tropical mountains and rain forests, finally hovering in the face of a plunging waterfall, then settling on the landing pad of Jurassic Park. It is a memorable live action moment from the Steven Spielberg motion picture, which widened our view of what is real and what is make believe. Spielberg’s scene was taken from Michael Crichton’s best selling novel, set on an imaginary island off the shore of the Central American nation of Costa Rica. But it was shot on the island of Kauai, in the Hawaiian archipelago. The picture grossed $920 million. Outsized creatures, of course, were not new to the movies or to Hawaii when Spielberg's velociraptors were running wild on Kauai and Oahu. Dino deLaurentis and Paramount had filmed the Jessica Lange remake of King Kong on Kauai's Na Pali Coast in 1976. In 1997, Disney remade Mighty Joe Young against the backdrop of the Kaaawa Valley, demonstrating for the umpteenth time that Hawaii does a beautiful job of standing in for Equatorial Africa. And TriStar used rural areas of Honolulu County as Tahiti, Panama, and Jamaica for a new Godzilla.
