Now that spring has arrived, it’s a great time of year to visit our nature reserves and discover why they are such special places. This programme lists the volunteering opportunities that are available throughout April 2021 on our nature reserves in Denbighshire, Flintshire & Wrexham and as part of our Wrexham Industrial Estate (WIE) Living Landscape project & Woodlands for Water project. If you wish to attend any of the work days, you must book ahead directly with the task organiser (their contact details are listed below). Please do not travel to attend a work day without the task organiser having expressly acknowledged that it is OK for you to attend. Our work parties provide an interesting and lively mix of practical work and informal training. MINUTES The minutes of the monthly meeting held on Tuesday 2nd February 2016 had been circulated to all members. It was proposed by Councillor J. Caruana and seconded by Councillor R. Hughes that the minutes of the monthly meeting be accepted as a true record of proceedings. All Councillors in agreement. Also circulated were the minutes of the donation meeting held on Tuesday 16th February 2016. It was proposed by Councillor C.E. Jones JP and seconded by Councillor G. Sherwood, Vice-Chairman that this be accepted – all Councillors agreed. 262. UPDATING HONOURS BOARD The Chairman, Councillor R. Williams and the Clerk had met with Mike prior to the meeting to discuss updating the Honours Board. Mike explained that he would need to purchase the gold leaf required for putting the names on and there would also be a cost for his time.
