For the construction of the 120m long boulder fence at the remote hillside of To Shek Village, helicopter was used to d eliver the boulder fence components to the site and the entire boulder fence was erected by manpower with the use of special design pulley system. While reinstating the 2km long existing seawall along the Ma On Shan promenade, both land and marine equipmen ts were used to transport and place the rock armours. In view of the close proximity of the existing seawall to the nearby residents, different environmental preventive measures were exercised during the course of construction to avoid nuisance to the Construction of Concrete Platform for Village House near by public, and a good communication in Siu Lek Yuen system was setup with the public. 3 6 Construction of Rockfill Slope and Associated Access Construction of Lorry Park with Associated Road at Kau To Shan Drainage and Landscaping Works in Ma On Shan .
