New York – Following the success of the December 2012 auction of The National Geographic Collection: The Art of Exploration, Christie’s is honored to partner with The National Geographic Society a second time to present the online-only sale of Boundless: 125 Years of National Geographic Photography. The online sale will be open for bidding from July 19 through July 29 at www.christies.com/natgeo, and will encompass a spectrum of images that represents the National Geographic’s rich history in the fields of geography, archaeology, exploration, science, wildlife and world cultures. Encompassing 125 photographs that have been newly printed in limited editions, the sale will include both contemporary and vintage images, and with estimates ranging from $400-5,000, it presents an exceptional opportunity for everyone who is drawn to the remarkable imagery that epitomizes National Geographic.
