Within Temptation veröffentlichen brandneuen Song ‘Entertain You’ auf ihrem eigenen Label Temptation Entertainment BV! Am 8. Mai 20 werden Within Temptation ihre brandneue Single ‘Entertain You’ überraschend schnell nach ihrem siebten Studioalbum “Resist” veröffentlichen. In den letzten Jahren steigerte sich die überaus erfolgreiche Karriere von Within Temptation kreativ und tourmässig enorm. “In der Musikbranche und in der Welt um uns herum sehen wir täglich so viele Dinge, die im steten Wandel sind und uns inspirieren. Wir waren schon immer eine Band die den Wandel begrüßt und umarmt und dieser neue Track zeigt dies mehr denn je. Musikalisch wie textlich. Für viele wird der Song aber auch ein Schocker sein’, sagt Sängerin Sharon den Adel. ‘Entertain You’ ist ein schneller Nachfolger des siebten Studioalbums der Band “RESIST” - ein Album das alle Erwartungen übertraf. ‘RESIST’, das am 01.02.19 erschien, chartete in vielen Ländern Top 10 und enterte in den offiziellen deutschen Albumcharts zum ersten mal Platz #1. Und jetzt, nur knapp ein Jahr später, ist der erste neue Song schon fertig und bereit verbreitet zu werden. Worlds Collide Tour - 150.000 Tickets in acht Ländern schon verkauft ‘Entertain You’ wird am 8. Mai veröffentlicht, eine Woche nachdem die letzte Show der zunächst geplanten Worlds Collide Tour gespielt worden wäre. Die Co-Headliner Tour zusammen mit der amerikanischen Rockband Evanescence war zuerst für den April 20 geplant, musste aber durch den Ausbruch der COVID-19 Pandemie geschoben werden. Die Worlds Collide Tour, für die schon eine beeindruckende Anzahl von über 150.000 Tickets in 8 Ländern verkauft wurde, soll nun im September 20 in Hallen wie der O2 Arena in London, der AccorHotels Arena in Paris, dem Velodrom in Berlin und dem Palais 12 in Brüssel steigen. Und was können die Fans von dieser Tour erwarten? "Einen spektakulären Event, nichts was es bisher schon gab”, sagt Sharon den Adel. “Man kennt uns für unsere innovativen, kreativen, manchmal over-the-top Bühnendesigns und Special Effects, aber diese Tour wird nochmal einen drauf setzen. If you’re a fan of bands like Nightwish and Evanescence, then the operatic, gothic sounds of Within Temptation will be just up your street. Within Temptation opened their set with not one, but three songs from the new album Resist (due to be released 14 December)! Usually, opening with a block of new tracks that your audience may not be familiar with would be a bad idea in my books, but these guys make it work. The moment Sharon stepped out onto that stage, to ‘Raise your Banner’, waving a large white flag she had the entire audience under her spell. Her vocal talents will never cease to amaze me, considering she’s never had formal training. The operatic elements of Within Temptation sound amazing on their studio albums, but hearing it live absolutely blows me away every time. ‘Stand My Ground’ is an old favourite of mine, from The Silent Force album, and it’s definitely a favourite for the entire crowd.
