‘THE WILD GIRL’ CAST BIOS BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN (Ned Giles) – Brian Austin Green quickly gained overnight fame as he endeared himself to millions as the sweet and naïve David Silver on the teen phenomenon “Beverly Hills, 90210.” As an actor, director and producer on the show, his resume is as extensive as it is versatile. As a child, he entered the fifth grade with music as his focus at Thirty Second Street School for the Performing Arts and, with the USC Film School around the corner, Green was soon starring in student films. After signing with a prestigious children’s agency, he has not looked back. Green was most recently seen guest starring on the hit television shows “Smallville” and “CSI: Miami.” Prior to that, he was a series regular on the critically acclaimed FOX television show “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” From the creators of “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” (2003), the series was set after the events of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” (1991) and followed the adventures of a mother who became a warrior, a son who became a hero, and their only ally, a friend from the future (Green), as they began a quest to stop the US military and Cyberdyne Corporation from creating the program that would bring humanity to an end. Green’s additional television credits include “CSI,” “Las Vegas,” “Hope & Faith,” “George Lopez” and “Freddie,” as well as a three year stint on “Knots Landing.” He also starred in the 1997 TV movie “Unwed Father” and the Showtime series “Dead Man’s Gun” and "Resurrection Blvd.” In addition, he starred in theatre productions of Ah, Wilderness and The Diary. Green has also completed work in several independent films, including “Ronnie,” “Cock and Bull Story” and “Purgatory Flats” and the short films “Righteous Indignation” and “Bleach.” Green directed his first feature film, “Fish Without a Bicycle” and was last seen in theatres in the Tony Scott directed feature film, “Domino” opposite Kiera Knightly and Christopher Walken. ### GRAHAM GREENE (Joseph) – Born an Oneida Canadian Indian, Graham Greene has built an impressive career in television, film and theatre in Native American roles, including his widely acclaimed part as Kicking Bird in the 1990 film “Dances With Wolves.” His portrayal of a Sioux medicine man earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 1991 Academy Awards®. Getting his start on the stage, Greene graduated from The Centre for Indigenous Theatre’s Native Theatre School program in 1974. In 2007, Greene was honored to appear on stage twice in the Stratford Festival in Ontario, as Shylock in The Merchant of Venice, and Lennie in Of Mice and Men. With more than 100 television and film credits, Greene has had an extensive career on-screen since his first role in 1979, on an episode of “The Great Detective.” Since then, he has appeared on television in several series, including “Northern Exposure,” “Wolf Lake,” “Spirit Bay,” “9B,” and “The Red Green Show.” In 1992, Greene appeared as Ishi in the HBO drama “The Last of His Tribe” and from 1997 to 2001, he hosted the reality crime series, “Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science.” Greene’s feature film credits include “The Green Mile,” with Tom Hanks and Bonnie Hunt, “Powwow Highway,” “Maverick,” “Thunderheart,” and “Die Hard: With a Vengeance,” among others. Most recently, Greene appeared as Harry Clearwater in the second part of the highly acclaimed Twilight series, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” In 2004, Greene was the recipient of the Earle Grey Award for lifetime achievement. ### KATHLEEN MUNROE (Margaret) - Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, Kathleen Munroe attended the University of Toronto, where she studied briefly under director Atom Egoyan. While still in school, Munroe booked her first role as the lead in the MTV pilot “The New Girl.” Shortly afterwards, she was cast in the Showtime movie “Last Call,” co-starring Jeremy Irons and Sissy Spacek. She then went on to star in several other films, including “Drummer Boy” and the independent films “Nowhere Man” and “Eternal.” Munroe has made a name for herself in television in both Canada and the US. She has starred in several series such as the ABC Family series “Beautiful People,” as well as the Montreal based series, “Durham County.” Currently, Munroe has a recurring role on “CSI: NY.” Shortly after completing “Durham County,” Munroe relocated to Los Angeles and was promptly cast in the ABC pilot “Suspect,” directed by Guy Ritchie. She has also guest starred in a number of television series including “Supernatural,” "Flashpoint," "Moonlight,” "Without A Trace," “Cold Case” and "NCIS: Los Angeles." Most recently, Munroe appeared opposite Chandra Wilson ("Grey's Anatomy") in the Emmy- nominated Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Accidental Friendship," and as the female lead in George Romero's upcoming feature "Survival of the Dead,” which will receive premiere screenings at both the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. Munroe currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. (more) HALLMARK MOVIE CHANNEL / ‘THE WILD GIRL’ – Cast Bios – Page 3 ### MATTHEW EDISON (Tolley Phillips) – As an actor and a playwright, Matthew Edison has made an indelible mark on the Canadian entertainment industry. A graduate of the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting in New York City, Edison made his theatrical debut in the Canadian premiere of Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane at Canstage, Toronto. He reprised this role the following year at the Manitoba Theatre Centre. Since then, Edison has starred in productions of Amadeus, Proof (Canstage), Loot, Awake And Sing!e, The Caretaker, The Real Thing, School For Wives (Soulpepper), The Man Who Came To Dinner and Danny’s First Play (Shaw Festival). Other theatre appearances include Darcy in Pride and Prejudice (MTC) and Florizel in The Winter’s Tale (NAC). Edison’s stage play, Domino Heart, premiered at the Tarragon Theatre to great acclaim and numerous award nominations. His adaptation for CBC Radio Drama was touted as one of the most successful produced that year. Edison was featured on Ken Finkleman’s series “At the Hotel,” the Showtime movie “Our Fathers” and “This Time Around” for Disney Pictures. He appeared in a recurring role on A&E’s popular series “Nero Wolfe,” and starred in the popular television movie “Waking Up Wally: The Walter Gretzky Story,” opposite Tom McCamus. Edison starred in the CBC pilot “The Dead Beat” and was seen in “Princess” (ABC), “House Party” (The Comedy Network) and “Murdoch Mysteries” (CTV). Edison is currently working on a screen adaptation of the novel The Law of Similars and has been commissioned by The Shaw Festival to write a play about the life of Harley Granville Barker. Edison is a member of the Banff Playwrights Colony, The Tarragon Playwrights Unit and the Canstage Play Creation Group. ### GREGORY ODJIG (Albert) – Ontario native Gregory Odjig is a Native American actor, born on the Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve. As a graduate of the Laurentian University Drama Program in the Sudbury School of Drama and Dance, he has shared his talents on the screen and stage for almost two decades. Odjig got his start in the 1991 play Thunder Bird Children. Other stage credits include Mirror Game and fareWel at the Magnus Theatre, Bereav’d of Light at the Stratford Festival in Ontario and Your Dream was Mine at Artword Theatre in Toronto. In 2000, Odjig received his first film credit as Clayton in the film, “Blood River.” He went on to play roles in various Canadian television and film productions, including “Hotel Babylon,” “Elijah” (more) HALLMARK MOVIE CHANNEL / ‘THE WILD GIRL’ – Cast Bios – Page 4 and “The Border.” Odjig most recently played Trevor Blueweed in the 2009 television series, “Cashing In.” Odjig’s other talents include stilt walking, gymnastics, comedy improv, and playing drums and percussion. ### LOLA TASH (Chideh) – A relative newcomer to the industry, 16-year-old Lola Tash is a Canadian actress got her start training at the John Robert Powers school in Toronto. She has guest-starred on the Canadian comedy series, “The Latest Buzz,” a CBC Webisode “Seth on Survival,” and is slated to play series regular Gisela in the 2010 teen series “Connor Undercover,” on the Family Network in Canada.
