In his first year, his defensive philosophy North Division KIAC Overall led the Lady Eagles to several national rankings, including 10th in the nation in steals per game; 14th in the Point Park 0-0 5-1 nation in turnover margin; and 15th in the nation in total steals. The 2013-14 Lady Eagles posted the second- Carlow 0-0 3-1 best field goal percentage, second-best scoring average and fewest turnovers in the last 1 years of the Rio Grande 0-0 5-3 program. They also reached the semifinals of the conference tournament for the first time in five years. After a brief stint in the NBA Developmental League, Price returned to his alma mater to work under Coach Kelly Wells in his first two seasons at Pikeville College, now known as the University of Pikeville. After two seasons as an assistant, Price returned to playing professionally in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for the Eastern Kentucky Miners. During the summer of 2008, Price founded the Mississippi Midway Quick Facts Basketball Exposure League (MBEL), a league that helped aspiring athletes get noticed by professional leagues, teams and agents. During that summer, he trained the Northwest Rankin High School Lady Cougars, transforming a 13-15 team to a 27-6 squad. Price continued to work with the Lady Cougars every summer and Location: Midway, Ky. they went on to win the Mississippi High School Athletic Association state title in 2011. Founded: 1847 Enrollment: 1,142 Coach Price became the owner and coach of the Mississippi Blues, of the American Basketball Association Colors: Blue (PMS Reflex Blue) & Gold (PMS 123) (ABA) in 2008. In his first year, Price led the Blues to a divisional title and playoff berth. In the second year of the Nickname: Eagles Mississippi Blues, he was back on the court and was named Western Conference All Star and Defensive Player Basketball Facility: Marshall Gymnasium (1,200) of the Year during the 2009-10 season in the ABA. Record at Marshall: 63-63 (since 2003) National Affiliation: NAIA Division II Price removed himself from ownership at the conclusion of the 2010 season to continue his professional playing Conference Affiliation: KIAC career in Mexico. After the unexpected death of his older brother David, Price returned to the United States to President: Dr. John P. Marsden play for the East Kentucky Energy of the ABA. During the 2010-11 season, Price led the Energy to the semifinals Athletics Director: Dr. Jim Tussey before falling short to the eventual champions. He was named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team for the Faculty Representative: William McGowan second time. Basketball Staff Price hung up his shoes to become an assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at the University of the Cumberlands under Coach Donnie Butcher. With the Price's help, Georgetown Managers: Reniesha Adams, Star Armstrong, College went on to win the 2013 NAIA Division I National Championship. He was a member of the Bears' basketball team from the spring of 2004 through the 2005 season. During his senior year, Price led Midway Basketball History the Mid-South Conference in steals and finished fifth nationally in steals per game (3.1). He also ranked in four other categories in the MSC that season: fourth in scoring (14.5), first in field goal percentage (51.2),1th 1 in First season: 1991-92 rebounds per game (5.2), and second in free throw percentage (71.0) which helped him earn First Team All-MSC Overall Record: 243-482 honors and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American Honors.     Four Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes for Volleyball Volleyball - Fri, Nov. 30, 2012 NAIA Scholar-Athletes PORTSMOUTH – Four members of the Shawnee State volleyball team have been named NAIA Scholar- Athletes. Janine Grey, Holly Tobias, Hannah Gephart and Kirsti Yates were all honored with the academic award. This award comes on top of all four being named Academic All-MSC. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be in their junior year and have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Each of these four student-athletes are earning the award for the first time in their careers. Grey and Tobias are the two seniors to earn the award. Grey is majoring in Photography, while Tobias is majoring in exercise science. Two juniors, Gephart and Yates, also earned the award. Gephart is an exercise science major, while Yates is majoring in biology. Three Honored as All-MSC Selections for Volleyball Volleyball - Sun, Nov. 11, 2012 MSC Release PORTSMOUTH – Following a complete team turnaround that saw volleyball double its win total from 11 to 22 this season, three individuals were honored as All-MSC selections at the conference banquet. Alex Pohl and Kirsti Yates were named first-team All-MSC selections, while Paige Zelich earned honorable mention All-MSC honors. For Pohl, the honor was the first time she was selected to the first team after earning honorable mention accolades in each of her past two seasons. Shawnee State's all-time leading blocker finished with 385 blocks for her career. This broke the previous mark by 10. This past season, Pohl finished second on the team with 85 blocks, including a team- high 31 solo blocks.

That Georgetown team went on to fi nish 10-1 with a fi rst-round loss in the NAIA vs. Playoffs. • Georgetown, at 3-3 overall, is off to its worst start since going 2-4 in 2008.
