OCTOBER 26, 2016 | CAMPBELLSVILLE 81, CENTRAL PENN 72 | CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. • Junior transfer Jalen Coates led all scorers with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 3-of-5 from downtown. He also made 5-of-9 from the charity stripe, dished out four assists and grabbed four rebounds. • Elliott Young pitched in 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting and also made 3-of-5 from deep. • The Knights out-rebounded CU 54-30 with ­­18 of those on the offensive glass and scoring 25 second-change points. • The Tigers were able to counter the poor rebounding effort with hard-nose in-your-face defense and forced 22 turnovers, scoring 21 points off those Central Penn mishaps. Coates led the way with four steals.

OCTOBER 29, 2016 | HARRIS-STOWE 71, CAMPBELLSVILLE 68 | ST. LOUIS, MO. • Campbellsville finished shooting just 33.3 percent (21-of-63) on the day and 20.8 percent (5-of-24) from deep. • The Tigers also left points at the free throw line hitting just 58.3 percent (21-of-36). • Harris-Stowe took advantage at the free throw line hitting 17-of-21 (81 percent) and 26-of-65 from the floor (40 percent). • Redshirt freshman Byron Dean led the Tigers with a career-high 16 points on 5-of- 9 shooting and hitting 2-of-3 from downtown. Shawn Johnson and Hagen Tyler also added double-figure scoring nights with 13 and 12 points, respectively. In addition, Johnson led CU on the boards grabbing 12 for a double-double. Coates narrowly missed a double-double for CU, finishing with seven points and nine assists.
