I think that Taiwan serves as the bridge that connects to different countries. If success, it will create a win-win situation for Taiwan and also enhance the popularity of Taiwan. And, by all means, with a view to participating in this great event, I also headed to Kaohsiung on my own. I bought a softball ticket in advance for knowing that the ticket would be in the demand then. During the game, everyone, including me, extremely went wild and fell into crazy for giving encouragement to the players, who were on behalf of Taiwan. Ultimately, the team representing Taiwan won the game by a landslide, 8 to 1, to Korea, thus entering the final tournament. (10) Right after this game, I departed for the main stadium to take some pictures. In the meanwhile, I met a foreigner from Sweden on MRT. Surely, I said hello to him and introduced Taiwanese tasty food in brief. He was a player, competing dragon-boat and “What a pity!” he said, in that he didn’t get the medal for his country. After having a short-time talking with him, I arrived at the World Games station, 7 PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com World games in Kaohsiung approaching to the main stadium. On my way to the main stadium, I met a foreigner from Mexico. She was a tourist. The reason I talked to her was that she had a curiosity on her face. She was curious about Taiwan’s traffic light which had a green man in the picture and was running. After I explained it to her, she said that it was not only an interesting invention but also a practical traffic signal that reminded us how much time was left to go across the road. Saying good-bye to her, I arrived at the main stadium. Out of the blue, I couldn’t go inside for not paying the gate ticket.
