International Geraniaceae Group Seed List 2018/2019 INTERNATIONAL GERANIACEAE GROUP SEED LIST 2018/2019 Welcome to the International Geraniaceae Group seed list for 2019. As last year we first list the new donations for 2019, followed by a list of seeds remaining from the 2018 list. We have 9 first time donors this year whom we welcome and thanks to all donors without whom this list would not be possible. Ordering instructions: Orders should be sent ONLY by email to [email protected] DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE! Please list the IGG reference numbers. The maximum number of packets which can be ordered per member is 30, so please list the first 30 you prefer and then list a few substitutes in case your choice is sold out. If a species has several donations, you can list several numbers joined by hyphens to indicate the donation preferred (eg. 71-74-72) but please restrict the total number of packets per species to two different donations. Packets will contain a minimum of 2 seeds, so you have a better chance! Mostly there will be much more. Orders will be dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Last year most orders were received within 24 hours of issue of the list so speed is recommended! We will work through orders as quickly as we can and inform you availability and how much to pay. We charge £0.30 per packet of seeds and £2.00 will be added for postage wherever you are. Payment can be made using this link http://www.geraniaceae-group.org/society/seed-exchange/seed- exchange-members-only/ You will need to have registered on the website and established a password to enter this area. Donors will receive a free packet of seeds for each packet they donated (duplicates count as one) and get half price for everything else. Some countries have strict rules on seed imports. Members in the USA should obtain an import permit for small lots of seed obtainable from APHIS. I cannot send seed until I get this but seed will be reserved. Australia and New Zealand have lists of permitted seed to which we will refer to ensure nothing is sent with a prohibited species name. Some of the Oxalis donations are bulbs and are clearly marked as such. 1 We rely on donors to correctly label seeds and pollination standards but we cannot be responsible for incorrect identification or failure to germinate or hybrids. Nor can we be responsible for seeds lost in transit for whatever reason or confiscated or destroyed by customs. Although members who have donated seed will have done their best to name their plants accurately, there is no guarantee given regarding nomenclature. If you have any doubts when the plant has matured, please photograph a flower, a leaf and also a general view then e-mail them to David Victor for identification. This can also be done via The Forum. If in doubt, I can forward photographs and the query for you. Where donors have not supplied information regarding pollination; it should be assumed the seed has been “open pollinated”. Seed raised from cultivars will probably not come true from seed and are not entitled to the original cultivar name but I have left the names as received from donors. Please note I have listed succulent monsonias under the old name of Sarcocaulon. Double or Triple Capital letters at the end of the listing informs you which donor sent the seed. (See the separate list of donors for 2018). There are several new donors and we are extremely grateful for all donations without which we could not produce such an extensive seed list. 1032 E. atlanticum IGG/2018/551/RK - GR 1033 E. crinitum (open poll.) - AC 1034 E. extra small named CVs (open poll.) - MLH 1035 E. manescavii (open poll.) - AC 1036 E. pelargoniflorum (open poll.) -AC 1037 E. sp. EX AIT. IN AUSTRALIA. By R. C. Carolin, University of Sydney. (Four Text-figures.) [Read 29th November, 1961.] Synopsis.
