Welcome Back! “Squirrel Girl Goes to College” is our first show back in the Squirrel Girl Goes to College Performing Arts Center for almost a year, and we are excited to bring this socially distanced show to life. Rehearsing both virtually and in person, these 40 talented actors and technicians have been working hard to learn new skills to bring you a 45 minute LIVE show streamed right to your living rooms. Prologue Theatre This show will be different from what you are used to. All actors are blocked to Scene 1 maintain as much distance as possible and masks will be worn at all time. Scene 2 Outside the Dorm Scene 3 In the Dorm However, all of that does not distract from the fun journey our hero Doreen Green Scene 4 University Classroom (AKA Squirrel Girl) goes on when she just wants hide her identity and have human Scene 5 In the Dorm friends in college. So join Doreen, Tippy-Toe and Professor Brightmind as our hero just tries to be normal in an abnormal world. Scene 6 University Classroom Scene 7 In the Dorm Scene 8 University Classroom Scene 9 In the Dorm Scene 10 University Classroom Epilogue Theatre Plot Summary Doreen Green bonded with squirrels at an early age and soon developed the ability to communicate with them. As Squirrel Girl, she’s got all the powers of a squirrel and all the powers of a girl! Doreen’s enhanced, squirrel-like strength, speed, agility, and reflexes make her gifted at climbing, jumping and more. With her squirrel partner and best friend, Tippy-Toe, she’s super excited about squirrels, nuts, and kickin’ butts. Now Doreen arrives at Empire State University to make new friends - and protect them from super villains - while keeping her super hero identity a secret. But when a beloved computer science professor suddenly disappears, Doreen must decide if she can trust her friends with her inner squirrel so she can attempt to save the day. Cast Crew
