Held each year at Alpharetta’s North Park, Wish for Wendy draws teams from all around Georgia whose fundraising efforts have raised over $1.35 million since the first tournament in 2000. Volunteering as a group for the fifth consecutive year, Epsilon brothers and pledges enjoyed great fellowship during their shifts beginning at 8:00 a.m. until the last pitch of the championship game. Mrs. Ida Shingles Receives Some Help With Her Spring Cleaning On April 6, 2013 Number 1 Quinton Burks ‘14 and Advisor David Opp ‘11 led a group of brothers to do some spring clean up at Mrs. Ida’s home in East Atlanta. The brothers cleaned the gutters, planted flowers, cut the grass and spread pine straw. Funding for supplies was provided by the Ida Shingles Assistance Fund. Epsilon salutes alumni and active brothers for their support of Mrs. Ida Shingles - Epsilon’s cook from 1989 to 2006. The following brothers have contributed a total of $5,949 to the Ida Shingles Assistance Fund since November of 2011 to help Ida and her family with unexpected expenses.
