Spreydon Heathcote Community Board Small Grants Committee 12. 10. 2013 SPREYDON/HEATHCOTE COMMUNITY BOARD 13 AUGUST 2013 Minutes of a meeting of the Spreydon/Heathcote Small Grants Assessment Committee held on Tuesday 13 August 2012 at 5.30pm in the Boardroom, Beckenham Service Centre, 66 Colombo Street PRESENT: Phil Clearwater (Chairperson), Cora Baillie, David Blackwell, Helene Mautner, Karolin Potter, Suzanne Sanderson, Doug Shepherd and Helen Thoms. APOLOGIES: Apologies for absence were received and accepted from Tim Scandrett and Paul McMahon. An apology for lateness was received and accepted from Helen Thoms who arrived at 5.41pm and was absent for clause 1 and part of clause 2. The Chairperson welcomed all members of the committee. The Committee reports that: PART B – REPORTS FOR INFORMATION 1. DECLARATION OF INTEREST The Chairperson invited members to declare any conflicts of interest. The following conflicts were declared and the members were absent from the room at the time of voting and took no part in the discussions regarding that application. Helen Thoms declared a conflict of interest with SHARP Trust, number 30. Doug Shepherd declared a conflict of interest with the Probus Clubs numbers 36 and 37. PART C – DELEGATED DECISIONS TAKEN BY THE COMMITTEE 2. SPREYDON/HEATHCOTE SMALL GRANTS FUND 2013/14 ALLOCATIONS The Committee considered a report for the allocation of the Spreydon/Heathcote Small Grants Fund for 2013/14. The Committee resolved to: (a) Allocate as set out below the Spreydon/Heathcote Small Grants Fund for 2013/14. (b) Delegate authority to the Committee Chairperson and a member of the Committee to confirm the minutes of the meeting. No. Organisation Name Project Committee Decision 1.
